God's Personality

Think of the kindest, most considerate person you know. This person has a smile on their face all the time and it seems, no matter what you do wrong, even if you spill your milk on the table cloth, they smile at you even bigger. They know you didn't do it on purpose. They even feel sorry for you that you feel so bad about spilling it, so they make excuses about how it's only an old table cloth that they don't even like.

Multiply that person's kindness and forgiving attitude by a thousand. There's nothing you can do wrong in their eyes. They have a mysterious, uncanny love for you that you know you don't deserve. Nothing can shake it. Nothing diminishes it. Not in the least. In fact, the love grows every second, every minute.

If you've never known anyone like that, try to imagine that person. Multiply their love by a thousand.

That wonderful person's personality doesn't even come near to God's personality.

God's love for us is indescribable, incomprehensible, unfathomable and beyond all we could ever ask or think. He loves us individually and uniquely as only He can. His love is as bountiful as the snow that has continued to fall all around us here in Barrie for the past several days. There seems to be no end to it.

You can shovel it into neat piles but, minutes later, more snow has accumulated so thickly that nobody would know how much snow you just moved off the walk! That's God's Love.

The biggest lie Satan likes to convince us of is that God is mean and law-enforcing, unmerciful and holding to unbearably high standards to which we will never attain. He wants us to think that it's God who lets little children starve and brings wars, famines and floods on us.

Even insurance companies call earth-quakes, tornadoes and tsunamis "acts of God" but they are not. God isn't going around judging us with weather, war and starvation. That's the Devil.

I don't like to talk about Satan because, really, it's hard to imagine a thing so wicked, so destructive, and so deceitful. But, let's just say that Satan likes to take the credit for God's goodness and blame his wickedness on God. He's very skillful at it and has duped a lot of people over the centuries.

Jesus said, "The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath."

He was telling the Pharisees that God made the law for our good and to protect and care for us. We were not made for the sake of the law. It's the other way around.

Knowing us as He does, God knew we would never be able to keep the law. He knew we were flawed and didn't expect perfection from us. How could He? He is the Only One Who is perfect. Not us. Not humans. We are deeply flawed.

And though, you may think, "Not our fault. That was Eve's fault." Well, actually, the fault was Satan's. Wasn't it?

Did God stop loving Adam and Eve after they disobeyed Him?

Well, did He?

No, He did not. In fact, He felt sorry for them. He was sorry that Satan hurt Adam and Eve with his poisonous deceit causing them untold suffering. That's why He arranged (from the beginning of time) to rescue the world by sending His most precious Offspring to the earth in human form.

Did God know Satan would succeed in having Jesus killed? Of course, He knew. God tricked Satan. He let him kill His Son in the flesh. How short-sighted was Satan? He thought he had won. He even had a heavy stone rolled in front of the tomb where Jesus's lifeless body was lain, thinking it would stop the miracle of the resurrection. (Seriously? That rock was a featherweight to God's angel. Just a joke.)

Satan is such a loser. The world's biggest loser. The biggest loser in the universe.

Everything he touches turns to destruction. Except not Jesus. He could not destroy Jesus.

Don't allow Satan to destroy your perception of God's personality, either. God is Satan's opposite.

Everything God touches turns to sweetness, success, health, beauty, wealth and joy. Everlasting joy!

God is loving, merciful, happy, kind, jolly, humourous, clever, artistic, creative, wonderful, romantic, generous, . . . He's past finding out. But, some day, we'll find out and we'll be amazed. Most of us have the wrong perception of Him. Where is our faith? What kind of God do we worship?

He is WORTHY. He's NOT a puny god. Yet, as great as He is, He loves puny old us.

What I Don't Like About Christmas

Once a year Christmas comes around and, for some people, it seems to be the time of year they allow themselves to be happy. They feel like they're "allowed".

Christmas is the one day of the year when there seem to be no rules. Anything is possible. People can even love each other and be kind to one another.

We buy gifts for each other and discover the joy of giving. That one time of year, we try hard to please a few other people by buying or making them the gift they have always wanted.

It's also the one time of year when we hear songs and carols in public about the birth and worship of our Saviour. So, hearing those familiar songs lifts our hearts. It's Christmas cheer.

Remember the "Spirit of Christmas Present" that comes to visit Scrooge in "A Christmas Carol" by Charles Dickens? He held a horn of some kind full of Christmas cheer and when he waved his horn at people, they would suddenly forget to be mean to each other. Scrooge asked him what was in his horn and he said,

"It's a spirit, five times distilled, the spirit of Christmas cheer, of love, of all that's good and all that makes this time of year different from any other time."

Scrooge asks, "Is there a peculiar flavour in what you sprinkle?"

"An excellent flavour."

"Would it apply to any kind of dinner?" Scrooge asks.

"To a poor one most." the Spirit answers.

"Why to a poor one most?"

"Because it needs it most," he replies. They say that Charles Dickens was the man who invented Christmas. That's because, in his day, people were moving to the cities in droves and their employees did not like to give their workers a day off. Bob Cratchet's working conditions were similar to many others and many others were much worse off.

In the 17th Century, English Puritan Christians actually tried to outlaw Christmas but without much success. At the turn of the 19th Century, however, Christmas had almost vanished from the scene. It was thanks to Dickens' popular novel that Christmas was revived.

Many of us grew up on the story of Scrooge, revisited in movie and book form every Yule Tide.

A Manger Scene in front of a house in Calgary, Alberta

Scrooge's nephew puts it in a nutshell:

"But I am sure I have always thought of Christmas time, when it has come round --apart from the veneration due to its sacred name and origin, if anything belonging to it can be apart from that-- as a good time; a kind, forgiving, charitable, pleasant time; the only time I know of, in the long calendar of the year, when men and women seem by one consent to open their shut-up hearts freely, and to think of people below them as if they really were fellow-passengers to the grave, and not another race of creatures bound on other journeys. And therefore, uncle, though it has never put a scrap of gold or silver in my pocket, I believe that it has done me good, and will do me good; and I say, God bless it!”

The part I don't like is where he says, "... in the long calendar of the year..."

That Christmas lasts for one day of the year and then, it's over is what I DON'T like about Christmas.

Are the Fires in Jerusalem Fulfilling Prophecy?

Don't hate me for this. I understand Christians' sympathy and love for Israel and for Jerusalem. I also love the city of our Lord and what it represents to mankind, especially at this time of year when we celebrate the birth of Jesus in Bethlehem.

Sometimes love hurts and it definitely hurt God to give His begotten Son. That was total love.

God loves Israel so much, the children of Abraham and the children of the promised Isaac. But, we have to remember that the children of Israel broke God's heart many times. Not only that but she martyred God's servants and the followers of Jesus. This is fact. I'm not making this up. It's in the Bible.

The ONLY nation God has ever referred to as a "whore" and a "harlot" and "mother of harlots" is who?

If you don't know the answer to that question, you really haven't been reading the Bible. So, no point in finishing this article until you go back and read the old testament as well as the words of Jesus. If you read Matthew 23, you'll see that Jesus used the word "woe" 8 times to describe the leaders of the Sanhedrin.

O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!

Behold, your house is left unto you desolate. (That word 'desolate' is used to describe the Holy Place after the Antichrist is finished with it. He places the Abomination of what? Right. Desolation.)

For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord. (They sure weren't saying that to Jesus when they had him crucified. But, they WILL.) - Matthew 23:37-39

Like I was saying, Israel (NOT the SAVED ISRAELITES) broke God's heart.

So, because of his enormous LOVE for his beloved who went awhoring after other gods, he is going to allow her enemies to compass her, burn her with fire and bring her to desolation in one hour.

Don't stone the messenger. It's all in the Word. If you don't happen to agree, please do dig into the Word for yourself and come up with one verse to contradict this interpretation of prophecy.

I believe the "Mother of Harlots" or "Babylon the Whore" has to be Jerusalem and can be no other.

Do you mean to say that God actually called Israel by the name of her enemies? Yep! In Revelation 11:8 for one. He called her Sodom and Egypt. We can't mistake this for being anyone else but Jerusalem because in the same verse it says "where also our Lord was crucified". He was crucified in Jerusalem. We all know that much.

It may be difficult to read this for those who don't have a good grip on Bible prophecy. It's really not easy for anyone if we look at it in the flesh, which is why the Bible is full of analogies and parables. We have to look at things in the Spirit, the way God sees things.

It's sort of like a romantic fairy tale where God falls in love with his precious bride, Israel but she gets drawn away from Him by the devil and starts to go awhoring after other loves. (Granted, that part is not so romantic.) But, then, Satan turns on Israel and she begins to see the true colours of the imposter that drew her away from her First Love.

It seems as though it's too late. All is lost. She is attacked by Satan's forces (Islam) and burned with fire and totally destroyed. But, just as it looks like there's no hope, Jesus returns in the sky to rescue His bride! He utterly destroys Israel's enemies and forgives her for all of her backslidings.

She is overcome with remorse and repents, calling on the name of her God. ("Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.") All is forgiven. In fact, God has created a NEW JERUSALEM to take the place of the earthly ruins whose ashes are still smoking.

And I John saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

That's the happy ending!

But, before all that, the Bible says there will be TEN HORNS who will HATE the whore.

Revelation 17:16 - And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.

What's happening now in Israel is a terrible holocaust. We need to pray for Israel!

This may be a precursor of things to come or it could be a partial fulfillment of this verse. In other words, dearly beloved brothers and sisters in the Lord, things are going to get MUCH worse in Israel before the end.

Matthew 24:15 - When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:
17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:
18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes...
21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

Note: Looking for scriptural evidence to PROVE that born-again, on-fire Christians WILL be going through the Great Tribulation? Take a look at 22. Just read it.

I'm not twisting scriptures here to prove a theory. If you just read the Bible word-for-word and ask the Holy Spirit to help you to understand it, it's a piece of cake. It's so clear.

As we get closer to the end, scripture is becoming clearer to me. How about you? One thing I started to realize a few years back is to just READ EXACTLY what it says. That's all.

If you don't get it the first time, go over each individual word until it RINGS YOUR BELL. God won't fail you. He won't give you misinterpretations. Anyone else might.

Before you go, let me ask you a question: If there's no such thing as the Pre-Tribulation Rapture, are you prepared to go through the Great Tribulation as a shining example and testimony to the power of God?

Oh, I do have another question: WHY do you believe in the Pre-Trib Rap if you do?

I think we all know the answer to that one.

I'd really love to hear any comments from friend or foe! Please feel free to let out all your frustrations on me. I've heard it all or at least some of people's frustrations, Catholics, Muslims and Christians. Hey, let's hear from some of you Buddhists, ha. I love you all! No kidding!

Soldiers

The war is on. It's time to get militant with the enemy. Like never before in the history of the world, the battle is intensifying. Why?

Because Satan knows that his time is short. If his time was short before, it's a lot shorter now.

He's pulling out his big guns so we have to pull out ours. We wrestle not against flesh and blood but we DO wrestle. Every day is a battle. Every day the enemy's tactics take a new little twist.

He'll never get ahead of us if we are staying close to the Lord and hidden in His Word because God knows everything way ahead of time. Our God knows the end from the beginning. The question is:

Are we hearing from God?

Little details, little hints and leadings from the Holy Spirit can set us out of the enemy's reach. God doesn't often yell in your ear. It does happen rarely.

One time, though, I remember hearing the voice of God very distinctly as though it was an actual person talking to me. The effect was very strengthening.

I was sitting at the back of a small commercial plane and we were landing in Siem Reap, Cambodia when I heard a voice that came sort of "out of the blue" or just detached from my normal thoughts. Of course, I was in a posture of praying and preparing to transition into a country where I'd never been before.

Often in these times of change, we get a chance to stretch our faith and get our character tested. And, for me, the area of finances has always been my "Achilles heel". (God knows me so well.) So, when the voice said,

"You're not going to like this," I knew it was going to have something to do with money.

At the same time, I had to smile. It was like a warning but in an ironic sort of way. It made me relax and "go with the flow" knowing that I had to face whatever there was to face and try to grin and bear it.

Sure enough, inside the airport, I was informed that Immigrations wanted $50 US to enter the country. Holy cow! Skimming right off the top. My usual attitude would have been. . . bad. With this warning under my belt, I straightened up and put on a grin to give the impression I had lots of money and could have put out ten times more.

The voice sure was right. It was prophetic in fact. I didn't like it.

The funny thing? I LOVED hearing that funny warning. It was worth much more than fifty bucks. God can take the pain out of life. And He really does have a great sense of humour. Of course He does, He invented it.

The point I was trying to make is that, these days, with the battle intensifying, we must be able to hear from God. Always be open to hearing from God. Give the Holy Spirit a chance to speak.

Be still and know that He is God.

Another thing too: I really feel that the Great Tribulation is going to be worse for unbelievers, those who don't have the Holy Spirit's protection and those who profess to be Christians without the power of God.

Those believers who are serious about their faith and read the Word, those who trust in Jesus and call on His name in trouble, those who are not playing games with God, these people will see the power of God during the Great Tribulation. They will receive power from on high.

When darkness falls, a little bit of light will be seen for miles. When there's nothing left but God, we'll discover that God is enough. God is sufficient. He is much more than enough.

Don't be afraid of your fear. Give it to Jesus. He's more than able to take all your fears and weaknesses on Himself. He'll heal every disease and provide every need. He never fails.

Has He ever failed you yet?

THE WRATH OF GOD

When is the Wrath of God?
The Wrath happens after the Resurrection of the saints, or what some call the Rapture.
The Rapture happens after the Great Tribulation.

According to scripture, the Final Seven Years begins with the confirming of the "Holy Covenant" by the Beast/Antichrist.

The Tribulation begins half-way through the Final Seven Years when the Antichrist breaks the "Holy Covenant". He will place the "Abomination of Desolation" in the "Holy Place". [Note: Just because it is referred to as a Holy Place does not mean that God sees it as being holy.]

Timeline:
  • Confirming of the Covenant
  • Building of the Temple in Jerusalem
  • Daily Sacrifice
  • Breaking of the Covenant
  • Daily Sacrifice Stopped
  • Placing of the Abomination of Desolation
  • Great Tribulation and Enforcing of the Mark of the Beast
  • End of the Tribulation
  • Death and Resurrection of the Two Witnesses in Jerusalem
  • Resurrection/Rapture of the Saints
  • Marriage Supper
  • WRATH
Now that we are clear about the Timeline, we know beyond a shadow of a doubt that the Wrath is not going to happen while the saved/born-again/followers of Christ are on the earth.

[That is not to say that there will not be church-goers and nominal, so-called "Christians" on the earth. Jesus said that He simply would not even know some of these people who think they have been serving God. Only God knows His own.]

Know Jesus

If you know Jesus like I know Jesus, you know we will not be here during the Wrath.

So, why am I talking about the Wrath?

It's something to avoid, that's why. There's a description of the Wrath of God in Joel, chapter 2 which will blow your socks off. This is what's going to happen to all those who are deceived by the False Prophet and all those who receive the Mark of the Beast.

That ain't us. That's our enemies who tribulated us. We really need to know the difference between the "Great Tribulation" and "The Wrath of God" because they are two very different things.

The Second Return of Jesus with His army of 144 thousand is going to be a thing of AWE. (The first time Jesus returns, He will gather together His elect and we will go flying UP to meet Him in the air. The second time, He will land ON the earth on the Mount of Olives [Rev. 14:1] with His army to pour out His wrath and to avenge the gentiles for their destruction of Jerusalem.)

Joel 2
1 Blow ye the trumpets in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the Day of the Lord cometh, for it is night at hand;

2 A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be an more after it, even to the years of many generations.

3 A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth: the land is as the Garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them.

[A picture of scorching the land, leaving nothing behind.]

4 The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run.

5 Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array.

6 Before their face the people shall be much pained: all faces shall gather blackness.

[Bet they're sorry now for not repenting. Those mega bunkers won't save them now.]

7 They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall march every one on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks:

[Nothing can stop these beings, this army of God!]

8 Neither shall one thrust another; they shall walk every one in his path: and when they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded.

[They cannot be killed!]

9 They shall run to and fro in the city; they shall run upon the wall they shall climb up upon the houses; they shall enter in at the windows like a thief.

10 The earth shall quake before them; [That places the Wrath of God immediately after the "Great Earthquake" of Revelation 6:12, Rev. 11:13 and Rev. 16:18. That "Great Earthquake" is a time-marker, if you will.] the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining:

11 And the Lord shall utter his voice before His army: for His camp is very great: for He is strong that executeth His word: for the Day of the Lord is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?

[God is going to fulfill His Word. He goes on to warn Israel and all non-believers.]

12 Therefore also now, saith the Lord, turn ye even to Me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning:

13 And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the Lord your God: for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great  kindness, and repenteth him of the evil.

[All it takes is a sincere turning to the Lord to receive His "great kindness".]

14 Who knoweth if He will return and repent, and leave a blessing behind Him; even a meat offering and a drink offering unto the Lord your God?

15 Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly:

16 Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet.

17 Let the priests, the ministers of the Lord, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare thy people, O Lord, and give not thing heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the people, Where is their God?

The Happy Ending/Beginning

18 Then will the Lord be jealous for His land, and pity His people.

19 Yea, the Lord will answer and say unto His people, (God is still referring to Israel as His people. He loves Israel so much and wants them to come back to him.) Behold, I will send you corn, and wine, and oil, and ye shall be satisfied therewith: and I will no more make you a reproach among the heathen:

20 But I will remove far off from you the northern army, and will drive him into a land barren and desolate, with his face toward the east sea, and his hinder part toward the utmost sea, and his stink shall come up, and his ill savour shall come up, because he hath done great things. (the Antichrist)

21 Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the Lord will do great things.

22 Be not afraid, ye beasts of the field: for the pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the tree beareth her fruit, the fig tree and the vine do yield their strength.

23 Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the Lord your God: for He hath given you the former rain moderately, and He will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month.

24 And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the fats shall overflow with wine and oil.

(It seems that there will still be farming on the earth after the return of Christ. There will be a Millennium of peace while the Devil is languishing in the bottomless pit.)

25 And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.

What is Witchcraft?

Witches are modern "soothsayers" or "diviners", people who tell you your future or perform curses on other people for you.

They may use tarot cards, tea leaf reading, palm reading or crystal balls, etc. These sort of objects that draw demons to them are like talismans. We don't want to give any ground to the enemy by having these sort of items in our homes.

Neither should we have books, DVD's or other material that refers to witches and witchcraft or idols of gods or even figurines of gods. In fact, we shouldn't even have statues of the Virgin Mary in our home because Mary was never a god.

All that to say that we should be very careful about things of witchcraft and the occult.

Three Ways to Summon Demons:
  • Sight
  • Sound
  • Smell

Idols draw demons through sight. Pounding drums and noise or humming draws them through sound. And incense draws them through smell.

When we burn incense to an idol, the demons know they are being worshipped (even if we don't know that ourselves). Offering incense to an idol is the same as idol worship. Of course, no Christian should ever take part in this.

The "Dragon Dance" or the "Lion Dance" of the Chinese is also a form of devil-worship. Demons love noise, clanging and the beat of the drum. They also love the sound of "Om" used for meditation.

Rebelliousness is Witchcraft

Why does the Bible say that rebellion is like the sin of witchcraft? Because, when we rebel against God, we are denying His power and authority and handing it over to the devil.

Give no place to the devil. Make sure your home is not accidentally inviting demons in. Allow the Holy Spirit to do a thorough cleansing of your heart and home if you have any heaviness or depression in your life.

Fill up on the Heavenly Holy Ghost and let Him haunt your house.

Earth's Final Hours

The New World Order enters the world's stage. In the midst of economic failure and threats of another World War, heads of state gather at a G20 in China to come up with solutions.

When a 7 year Peace Agreement is confirmed, the final 7 years of the world's history will commence. There will be a certain relief at first and calm. Political correctness, acceptance, tolerance and even a common unity of religion will bring about a sense of peace. But, it will be fake.

The price for this peace will be a total surrender of freedom and basic human rights to a one-world government that demands control of our every move. This government is not to be trusted.

When the Mark of the Beast becomes mandatory, our lives will be in constant danger. We will need to learn how to survive without money in a world without mercy.

Our only hope will be Jesus. Our survival will depend on our relationship with God, our leading of the Holy Spirit, our protection of God's angels.

Do you know Jesus enough to love and trust Him with your life? Have you put your life in His hands? He knows you better than you know yourself because He is your creator. He loves you more than anyone in this world and He knows what's best for you.

Will you be spending eternity in the loving presence of our wonderful Creator, God and His Son?

Don't be duped by the deceptions of the New World Order. Don't take the Mark of the Beast computer chipping to be able to buy and sell. Don't put your trust in this world's system. It's all a scam. The biggest scam in the history of mankind.

Get your directions from the Saviour. Keep your eyes on Jesus. Be led of His Holy Spirit and the Word. Follow the road-map of the Bible. Depend on the Truth.

WATCH AND PRAY beloved that you don't enter into temptation. We are at constant spiritual warfare. This is a serious, life or death situation we are entering into. God help us to be brave.

It's time to pray like never before. And remember, a little light shines brightest in great darkness.

Dreams

It's sort of interesting to note that the only way to have an actual dream is to go to sleep. We must sleep to dream.

To be able to sleep, one must "let go". It takes letting go of this reality, in a sense. In other words, we have to let go of the "here and now" to allow our thoughts (or our spirit) to go somewhere else.

I think that may be the reason why so many of us find it difficult to sleep. We're exhausted, in desperate need of a good, deep sleep to rejuvenate us. Yet, we can't sleep. Our brain won't allow it. Or, our thoughts won't slow down.

It just seems that, although we do sleep, it takes longer than it should for us to fall asleep; deep sleep alludes us and we feel unrested when we awake. Waking up again is so difficult, yet it's also difficult to fall asleep.

The reason, I believe, that we have sleep problems is . . . technology.

This is just a theory of mine, but I do believe that we can trace most of our sleep problems to technology. And, when I say technology, I am including electricity along with computers, laptops, Ipads, Ipods, Smart phones and all that.

We have to look at electricity first and think about how much life has changed since the advent of electricity. Wires pass through the walls of our houses and apartments carrying exciting vibrations. Bright light sneaks through the cracks of our curtains and under our doors at night time. More vibrations.

It's night time. But, where is the night? Where is the dark? It's not really dark, so how can our brains know that it is really night time, time to sleep?

Perhaps that phone charger is only putting off a teensy bit of light. But, it is light.

Now, to address the bigger problem which is all-encompassing: computer technology. Ouch. If you're like me, you don't like to admit how much time you spent on your computer today. It gets away with me. Before I realize it, I've got TB (tired bum) from sitting so long on my laptop. Yike! The sun is going down! Don't tell me another whole day has gone by.

But, it has. The day is spent. The sun has gone down. But, my brain is firing messages back and forth like lightning in an electric storm. It's buzzing like a hive of bees getting ready to swarm.

If I'm outside during the day, the people I encounter are either on their phone, on their Ipad, plugged into their Ipod or sitting at a computer or laptop. And, I'd have to say, "Without exception."

You know it's true.

Even reading the Word, we use our gadgets. We certainly don't read a big old Bible by candle light anymore. If we have a "hard copy" of the Bible, it's usually a 3x5 or a 4x6. And there's nothing wrong with that. Even if it's a 1x1, the Word is the best publication to carry around.

Like "ET", we get loads and loads of "input". We're constantly firing on all-cylinders and multi-tasking. And, we can't seem to stop! When it comes to our "electronic lives", self-control has flown out the window. Along with all the time in our day.

Just one more message. Oh, one more phone call is all. Just this text and I'm done. Oh, I forgot about the 'so-and-so' and I have to tell 'So-and-So' about the 'such-and-such'.  What time is it? What? It can't be! I have to get up at 7 tomorrow.

So, we reluctantly shut it all down. The screens go black. But, our brains are still humming with messages lit up and flying along the highway of our neural passages.

What about this message? What about that piece of information? What about that picture? Wasn't it funny? What did that mean? Why is it like that? Do people really say that about that? Try to sleep. Try to sleep. Try to sleep. Ok, I should pray over my dreams.

Yes, we try so hard to calm down. We even listen to some soothing Christian music. And that helps a lot. But, falling to sleep takes a lot longer than it should and waking up does too.

One hundred years ago, who would have thought that sleeping would become such a problem for so many? Most people worked long, hard hours with little time to spare. Falling asleep at night was probably the least of their problems.

Nowadays, the days seem shorter. It's a different world. That's easy to see. And, there are pros and cons.

But, we need to sleep and we need to dream. It's a necessary part of our spiritual lives. When else does God have the chance to speak to our hearts and minds without interruption?

Dreams are important. They can be messages from God. They can be prophetic. So, we should really try to remember them.

I had a powerful dream the other night. It was powerful in that it seemed to last a long time, seemingly all night long. That's why I was able to remember it. And it was a very drastic sort of dream, which made me think it could be a warning about something in my own life.

I dreamt a snake had appeared under the floor of our big house. The snake was long and thick. It seemed to go on and on and on... It was coming up through a grate in the floor and traveling around the house through the heating ducts.

Since it came up into my bedroom through the grate in the floor, I decided I had to move to another room to sleep because it would probably crawl into my bed while I was sleeping. So, I moved to another room. But, I realized that room also had a grate and even if I covered it, the snake would be able to push through if it wanted to...

When I woke up, I told my sister the dream but I told her, "I know it's not a real snake. It represents something." And that same day, I found out what the snake was.

I got a computer virus on my laptop. It was a scam, but for most of the day, I thought I had a huge problem. After making two phone calls and listening to an agent go on and on about how he had to save my computer, I discovered they were going to charge almost $100 for this "huge problem" to go away. I was told it had traveled through all my files, threatening to destroy them, gain access to my banking information and on and on.

That's when I realized, "This is the snake." So, I laid hands on my laptop and prayed for the Holy Spirit to rebuke the devil.

Although it caused me some stress and worry, it turned out to be an invisible snake after all. I was told by a nice young lady that there was a scam going around and that I shouldn't pay anyone to get rid of the "virus". And, in the end, it all just went away as if it had never existed in the first place.

Come the end of the day, I felt as though I'd done battle with a very long . . . snake.

Why was there a large house in my dream that the snake was entering into?

Well, it turned out the "virus" came in through a site I went to to watch "Downton Abbey". Now, that's a big house, isn't it?

I don't know about you, but I've decided to limit my tech time by setting a schedule. And to turn off my laptop a couple of hours before bed-time. If possible.

God Wants Lots of Nothing

How to come into the presence of God?

God wants nothing between Him and me. He wants me to get everything out of the way. He wants lots of nothing.

That's not always an easy task to perform. It takes getting quiet. It takes letting go. We have to let go of all of our worries, fears, stress and activities of the mind. It takes TIME.

In a way, giving up our time and allowing God to have our time is a big sacrifice. By giving up some of our precious time to the Lord, it's letting go of the ownership of our time, which is, in essence, our life. Isn't it? Our lives are made up of time.

So, to come into the presence of God, we have to:

1. STOP - Quit trying to figure everything out with our own minds, our own figuring and calculating.
2. LOOK UP - Get our eyes off ourselves and our circumstances.
3. BE QUIET - Sh-h-h-h-h-h-h.
4. LISTEN - God has plenty to say. After all, it's His universe and He has the plan.
5. RECORD WHAT YOU HEAR - Writing it down is a great way to assimilate what God has told you.

How to receive an outpouring of the Holy Spirit?

The scripture says that God wants us to come to Him with a pure heart. But, I think we often see "pure" in a self-righteous way, thinking that we can make our own hearts pure.

Well, we can't. We cannot. Only God can make our hearts pure. And even then, they won't stay pure because we humans are constantly sinning. Anyway, being pure is not even really the goal. Hard to believe? That's because we are conditioned to think of purity as a goal to achieve instead of a letting go of our own plans, ideas, thoughts and reasoning.

Ok, so here's how I see purity of heart.

Yes, we should ask God for forgiveness. That's true enough. (By the way, we should ask Him to forgive us for all the sins WE DON'T KNOW WE ARE GUILTY OF because, there are plenty. We are ALL blind to our sins. Besides, it is impossible for us to be good or anything like "good" or "pure" of ourselves. That kind of self-made goodness is called "self-righteousness" which, as it happens, is THE BIGGEST SIN OF ALL in the eyes of God. It's SO bad that God calls it filthy rags or menstrual rags. So, do we really want to hold up our filthy rags to God and show him how "good" we are? I don't think so.)

As far as purity goes, I'd say the only way to really get purified is to get filled with the Holy Spirit that cleanses all our sins and spend time in the presence of God. Only God knows what purity is. But, I'd say that purity is LETTING GO. Letting go of everything. Not just the stuff we see as bad, but EVERYTHING.

If we let go of it ALL, it will create a vacuum that God can fill with HIS purity and goodness and power and love and the things that are truly godly.

To get filled with the Holy Spirit:
1. Confess sin and ask for forgiveness - May I suggest not to make long, long lists of sin? God knows what our sins are better than we know.
2. Praise God! - Praising the Lord brings down the Spirit of God.
3. LET GO - speaking in tongues is a great way to empty the mind of confusion. Sometimes our tongues are a confusion, but, the longer we speak, the clearer the meaning of the tongues becomes. There can be messages that come through in our tongues that God can interpret for us. Allowing our spirits to cry out to God without constraint is a wonderful release.
4. ASK - Ask God for His Holy Spirit. You won't be disappointed.
5. Thank Him in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth! Amen.

Practise Prayer

Never stop praying. You can pray all the time, anywhere, everywhere, no matter what else you're doing. It's free. It's your life-line. And prayer can change your life.

Prayer doesn't need to be complicated, poetic, dramatic, eloquent or even grammatically correct. Quite often, all I say is,

"Thank-You, Jesus." Because that expresses what's on my heart at the time. I'm thankful for life, for good health, for strength, for the ability to tie my shoes.

I believe that God hates to be ignored.

I'll often mention His name and sometimes when people hear the name of Jesus, they think I'm using His name in vain. Ha. That's how programmed we are by religion. If you think about it, it may be one way the devil has of stopping us saying the name of Jesus. It's easy enough to say "God" and everyone does it. "God" is ambiguous or vague. It could be any god. But, when we say "Jesus", there's an incredible, indescribable power that extends out of the sound of those syllables.

JESUS!

Now, look at His entire name: JESUS CHRIST.

What do you envision? Do you see a man covered with blood hanging on a cross? Well, to hang on a cross was a CURSE. It says so right in the Bible.

"Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree." Galatians 3:13

Actually, wouldn't it be more cursed to ignore Jesus? We would be cursed if it weren't for Him. So, to speak to Him all day, every day is to keep the connection strong. That way, whenever He wants to tell us something, our ear is already attuned to His voice.

If I had one piece of solid GOLD advice, it would be, "NEVER STOP PRAYING." or, in other words, "NEVER STOP TALKING TO JESUS."

Talk to Him ALL the time about EVERY LITTLE THING. Ask Him questions. Any questions. Aren't you curious? Don't you want to know?

I used to ask a lot of questions when I was a little kid. I was FULL of questions, as most little kids are. But, what happened was, I would get either NO answer or else, really STUPID answers. I hope other little kids don't experience this but, in my case, the adults and older kids around me used to enjoy keeping me in the dark. It was as if knowledge was a deep, dark mystery that they were hiding from me and that's how I felt. So, I decided to find out the answers for myself. I went to the library.

Of course, nowadays, one only needs to go to the computer. It's all there at the touch of a button.

Yet, there remain some DEEP, DARK ANSWERS that are not readily available online. Those are the ones that can only be gotten by digging deeply into the mines of Heavenly Knowledge through PRAYER.

CHRISTMAS

Is the celebration of Christmas a good thing or a bad thing? As born-again Christians, should we celebrate Christmas?

There are probably two different ways to look at this: It's a time of year where we can freely talk about the birth of Christ and use it to win souls to the Lord. But, it's also a time of year that has been exploited dramatically by the commercial system to the extent that there is a shopping FRENZY taking place for the entire month of December, especially the last two weeks.

Jesus said, "By your traditions, you have made the law of God of no effect."

Paul said, "All things work together for good to them that love God..."

Let's face it: we are NOT going to be able to stop Christmas. It is deeply ingrained in our culture. But, more importantly, it is a cash cow that most businesses depend on for a large portion of their annual revenues. So, Christmas is probably here to stay. It will be celebrated come what may. Even though it may be "politically incorrect" to actually say, "Merry Christmas", it will continue to be the year's biggest holiday.

But, should we partake of it? After all, it certainly isn't the birthday of Jesus Christ, is it? It's not His birthday, at least, not that we know of. The holiday was handed down to us from pagan worshipers and the Christmas tree was one of their traditions that Christians "stole".

For me, I do like the "atmosphere" on Christmas Day. That's not to say that I am not deceived by a sense of false "peace on earth and goodwill to man" which is quite possible. But, for me, it's the only day of the year (and possibly month of the year) when the Christmas carols are being played and sung. And I just love the Christmas carols.

Many of these songs were written by true, on-fire believers who poured out their hearts to worship our Lord. So, if nothing else, just the fact that the air-waves are carrying messages of worship to Jesus, makes it a glorious time of the year. And I think this also brings down the Holy Spirit, making the message of salvation available to all.

The flip side of this is that, in developing nations, Christmas is merely a day to give gifts, put up a tree, eat a nice dinner and decorate your house with pretty lights. But, still, this really does set the stage for them to eventually reach an understanding of what the birth of Christ is all about, don't you think?

In Malaysia, even the non-believing Hindus and Muslims like to celebrate Christmas. They get excited if you give them a Christmas card! It's just because it's so "Western" and such a cute souvenir. Then, of course, you have the Christians in Malaysia that try to follow all the traditions of the holiday. Why not? Yes, we stole the "day" from the druids or whatever and it's a "harvest celebration" or something, but, so what? Christians use a LOT of stuff that once belonged to the devil.

Don't tell me that shopping malls, coffee shops, restaurants, hair salons, toy shops and so on are off limits to Christians. Most believers, including myself, enter these establishments without any concern whatsoever. AND, when we do, we usually don't go around singing about Jesus, do we? But, at least on Christmas, WE DO. At least, I do. I don't know about you.

As in all things of this world, Christians must RISE ABOVE. Folks, we have to realize we LIVE on the devil's territory! This world is the devil's domain and most people in this world are under the devil's control!

Is that hard to believe?

It's sad for those who are deceived. But, it's true. He has most of the world duped. Most of the people in this world are walking around in a daze, following their nose to eternity, not knowing that there is a way OUT. God has a PLAN for our lives.

So, what about Christmas? WHAT SHOULD WE DO? Here's my suggestion:

"Whether therefore ye eat or drink or whatsoever ye do, do it all to the glory of God."

"Ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world..." John 15:19

Just like with everything else that we see going on around us, Christmas can be used for God's glory. If we can go shopping for groceries and come out without demons crawling all over us, I think we are strong enough to get through the Christmas season unscathed. It's really a position of our hearts. And if I say, "Merry Christmas" to someone, I mean it and hope they do have a great time AND come to know the Lord if they don't already. You know what I mean? All things work together for our good.

More and more the darkness deepens. More and more we will be faced with choices about what's really important and what our priorities are in this life. We must be guided by the Holy Spirit step by step because there are many pits and cliffs out there and traps of the enemy. He is SUCH a drama queen. He's mostly all bark and no bite. He's just something to AVOID. And rebuke. But, let's not allow HIM to steal back Christmas.

Maybe, he already has. Christmas has become nothing be a shallow, foolish materialistic orgy for the majority of the world. Santa Claus takes front and center stage with his silly elves. He's one to avoid, for sure. I wouldn't allow any of my kids to sit on his lap. That's the dark side of Christmas.

And shopping is ridiculous. You're supposed to buy a gift for everyone and although it's a nice thought, the whole tradition has caused many to go bankrupt! It's like an obligation that we didn't ask for and didn't want but if we didn't do it we'd feel really bad. It's such a pain! We have to go out and spend, spend, spend money that we don't have to get gifts that will probably not even be appreciated. Then we have to accept gifts that we probably don't need or want in some cases. So, THIS part of the "tradition" of Christmas can be very annoying and it may take extra effort to stay in the spirit and on the right track.

Again, whatever we do should be to the glory of God. If we pray about what gift to buy (or make) and what message to write on that Christmas card, God could even use THAT to His glory.

So, Christmas is a holiday, that used to be used to glorify God in the Christian world. Like Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol" about Scrooge, the miser who had a change of heart, it was a wonderful time of the year when people made merry with their friends and family. Nothing wrong with that, is there?

The mother would sit down with her children and read them the story of the birth of Jesus out of the Bible. THAT'S A GREAT TRADITION. And if things were kept simple and unadulterated, it would be fine. But, of course, these days, it's all about the latest gadgets and best gifts under the "tree". It almost seems that Christmas is going back to being a Pagan holiday full of materialism, overindulgence, and drunkenness.

It's a fine line to walk to try to be a good example of a true Christian during a holiday that makes so many of us look like hypocrites. GOD HELP US. It really is an obstacle course and what little of Jesus is still infused into it, we should dwell on that side. After all, we are the light of this world. When all is dark, we will shine even brighter. So, as Tiny Tim said,

"God bless us, every one." (Except for the devil's crowd, eh?)

Two Deceptions

There are two deceptions that will be gaining more and more influence as we near the end:
  • The Catholic Church
  • The Jewish Temple

Other deceptions, like the Mark of the Beast, the Antichrist and the One World Government are all pretty apparently evil in the eyes of most Christians, I think. But, the two I'm mentioning here are much easier to slide by the untrained eye.

So, all of us, who love Israel, love Jerusalem and even celebrate Jewish holidays may be very tempted to go ahead and join Israel to worship their god in their new temple soon to be rebuilt. They will open their doors to everyone.

Believers in Christ worship the God of Israel. Unfortunately, not all Israelites worship the God of Israel. In fact, Jesus said that they worship the devil, believe it or not. Therefore, we must be cautious about how closely knit we should become with the unbelieving Jews. The thing is, they are going to build a temple to their "god", not to our God.

Isaiah 64:11 says, "Our holy and our beautiful house, where our fathers praised thee, is burned up with fire: and all our pleasant things are laid waste. Wilt thou refrain thyself for these things, O Lord? wilt thou hold thy peace, and afflict us very sore?"

The answer to the question is in Isaiah 65:2: "I have spread out my hands all the day unto a rebellious people, which walketh in a way that was not good after their own thoughts; a people that provoketh me to anger continually to my face; that sacrificeth in gardens, and burneth incense upon altars of brick;"

When the temple is rebuilt (which I believe will be very soon), the "Daily Sacrifice" will commence. Is it a good thing? Well, this is what God has to say about it:

"He that killeth an ox is as if he slew a man; he that sacrificeth a lamb, as if he cut off a dog's neck; he that offereth an oblation, as if he offered swine's blood; he that burneth incense, as if he blessed an idol. yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations." (Isaiah 66:3)

In other words: "He that kills an ox is as if he killed a man; he that sacrifices a lamb, as if he cut off a dog's neck; he that offers an oblation, as if he offered pig's blood; he that burns incense, as if he blessed an idol. Yes, they have chosen their own ways and their soul delights in their abominations."

It's really going to make God angry! I mean WRATHFUL!

"Therefore will I number you to the sword, and ye shall all bow down to the slaughter: because when I called, ye did not answer; when I spake, ye did not hear; but did evil before mine eyes, and did choose that wherein I delighted not." (Isaiah 65:12)

The funny thing is that, when Jewish people read Isaiah, they see it from a completely different angle. They imagine that God wants them to build this third temple, but only God could have written the book of Isaiah in such a way as to allow them to be deceived by it. That's because they're not tuned in. In a sense, God wants them to be deceived as a punishment.

"I also will chose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them;" (Why?) "because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not." (Isaiah 66:4)

The book of Isaiah is constantly warning Israel and prophesying their punishment. I mean, Israel broke God's heart, so He is constantly lamenting their behaviour and begging them to return to Him. It's all throughout the Bible, even when Jesus was on the earth. The only people Jesus got mad at were the scribes and pharisees. The common people heard Him gladly, but the Sanhedrin called him Beelzebub and a devil! You'll notice Jesus changed his whole tone when He was talking to them, like a family feud, calling them fools. (Matthew 12:24) He said it would be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrah on the day of judgement than for them.

You don't have to believe that Jerusalem is Babylon the Whore, as I do. But, at least be warned. God is not going to be pleased with the new temple. He didn't ask them to build it. It's not the Lord's House. NO IT IS NOT.

The Lord's House is clearly described in the book of Revelation, the last two chapters.

the Holy City is called NEW Jerusalem and it's not made with human hands, folks. (Revelation 21:2 & 3) These two chapters, the last two of the Bible are dyno-mite. That's the REAL HIGH, the Happy Ending, the Grand Finale, and Just the Beginning!

The other "Great Deception" is the Catholic Church. Let's not forget what the Catholics did during the infamous "Inquisition" in Europe. Let's not forget how some Catholic monarchy in England behaved towards true believers.

The Catholic priests had a saying, "As a coin into the coffer rings, a soul from purgatory springs."

Not only did they make up the idea of a purgatory, but they proclaimed that you could buy your relatives OUT of it by giving LOTS of money to the church! There are too many false doctrines in the Catholic Church to enumerate here. Let it suffice to say, "Stay away from it." That's what I would do.

During the final hours of life as we know it on earth, the Catholic Church will rise in power and influence even more than they already are. We can see it happening already. Pope Francis has quite the following: sheep to the slaughter. And he will probably be the False Prophet who will enforce the Mark of the Beast. I could be wrong. I don't deny it. I don't mind being wrong. But, even if I am wrong, this guy is NOT to be trusted. He is only a human being. And we all know what human beings are.

All that to say, beware the Catholic Church, the Pope, and the new temple going up in Jerusalem.

Insidious Lies

The most insidious lies are those that sound like absolute truth. They may sound kind and holy or "politically correct". THAT'S THE FIRST CLUE. Take this one for example:

"One of the greatest tragedies in mankind's entire history may be that morality was hijacked by religion."

At first glance, this may sound like an accurate statement. It's particularly appealing to "independent" or radical thinkers.

He says "tragedies" and that immediately alerts us to think, "Yes, what is the root tragedy of this life?" So we perk up and listen. It's like a buzz word. He also uses "hijacked" and that's a word that would set off alarms. But, let's take a look at the underlying meaning of what he's really saying.

What does he actually mean by "religion"?

I think, in most cases, religion refers to Christianity because that word was first used in the Bible. BUT, if he is referring to man-made or false religion, that's different. Even still, you have to ask,

"HOW can religion 'hijack' morality?" BECAUSE, "WHERE DID MORALITY COME FROM?"

By agreeing with his statement, he's sort of getting you to agree that mankind is BORN with morality living inside of him and that this was somehow taken over by religion. Or something like that... It's SUCH a confusing statement but, yet on the other hand, he says, "may be" thereby letting himself off the hook so that nobody can accuse him of making a false statement. It's almost a "legal" statement that you could take to court! I mean, the Devil is clever as all get-out. Which is why we need to stay one step ahead of him.

Ok, so let's look at the word: morality. What IS it? My dictionary defines it this way.

"Principles concerning the difference between right and wrong or good and bad."

In my humble opinion, only GOD knows the difference. So, in effect, you could change the word morality to GOD. God is the One who educated mankind on morality. And the Bible is the book that records "rules" or "guidelines" for morality. BUT, I do NOT like to call the Bible a religion. It's not.

Religion came from man's interpretation of God's book. In fact, Jesus Himself completely DENOUNCES RELIGION and hypocritical RELIGIOSITY. If you didn't know that, please go ahead and read Matthew 23. Even in Matthew chapters 5, 6 and 7, Jesus makes it very clear that it's our motives that count and that obeying the law of the scribes and pharisees is just not enough. He was saying,

LOVE IS GREATER THAN THE LAW.

Therefore, true morality is true love. Nothing less.

If you said:

"One of the greatest tragedies in mankind's entire history may be that GOD and God's LOVE were hijacked by the DEVIL and his FALSE RELIGIONS."

Then, you have a MUCH more accurate statement. It's a tragedy that the devil has hijacked God. TEMPORARILY. But, NOT FOR LONG.

This is ALL an ILLUSION, folks. It's ALL an illusion of the devil!

NOT TO WORRY. All will be revealed. All will come to light! The TRUTH will prevail, make no mistake. Satan will not be permitted to continue his deceptions for much longer! His twisted take on reality will soon come into the full exposure of God's search-light!

Sorry for you, satan. You flimsy, sickly weak, miserable, wicked liar. Sorry for YOUR DESTINY. Satan KNOWS his destiny. Oh, yes! And, if you don't, here it IS right in Revelation 20:1-3. AHHH! Three of my FAVOURITE VERSES!

"And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, And cast him into the bottomless pit and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled."

Read it and weep, Satan! And all you Devil-worshipers and Satan-lovers!

Now, speaking of Devil-worshipers, our dear Pope Francis (who I like to refer to as the "False Prophet") has spoken a few wide-spread insidious lies of his own that really sound like the truth! In fact they sound loving and kind and ever-so "humanist". (Putting my finger down my throat...) Here's one he came up with recently.

"You cannot insult the faith of others."

WHAT?

"Shake hands with the Devil! Be polite! Let him sit at the table with you! Listen to him! He has a LOT TO SAY."

Are you KIDDING ME??

Talk about an insidious LIE of the DEVIL!

Jesus insulted the faith of others. Elijah KILLED 450 false prophets. In fact, many people were killed by Israel just because they worshipped false gods. Paul must have REALLY offended others' religions! Not to mention all the apostles.

INSULT? Insult FALSE FAITHS? YES! YES, INSULT THEM! REBUKE THEM! Cast out devils! SET THE CAPTIVES FREE! Do you think those 450 prophets of Baal were "insulted" as Elijah KILLED THEM?

By saying, "You cannot insult the faith of others," the pope is putting himself above God and saying, "I know better than God." Well, if he is the false prophet I believe him to be, he sure is acting like it.

You know, I think that "may be" one of the greatest tragedies in the history of mankind is that a human being is respected as the "representative of God" who is merely a sinful human being and that people think the words coming out of his mouth are from God. THAT is a tragedy.

By the time they wake up to his deceptions, it may be too late!

I appeal to all Catholics when I say, "Catholicism is NOT of GOD."

The reason why it is SO DECEPTIVE is because it is SO CLOSE TO THE TRUTH. I mean, they even talk about Jesus. But, WHO do they PRAY to? That's the all-important factor, right there! WHO do they confess their sins to?

Praying to a statue is idol-worship. Praying to Mary is blasphemy. Confessing your sins to a human being will NOT resolve your sins to God!

If you ARE Catholic and you want to remain Catholic, at least steer yourself away from these false religious practices that have hijacked the Truth and Love of Jesus! Pray to Jesus directly. Confess your sins to Him. And do not ever bow your head to an idol made out of plaster. But, ideally, LEAVE THE CATHOLIC CHURCH.

The Catholic Church is partaking now of the biggest international deception in the history of mankind and will UNITE WITH THE ANTICHRIST to form a ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT. Come on, you KNOW ALL THIS! RIGHT?

Look Up!

The sound of trumpets! A bright light in the sky! Angels appear! Then suddenly we see our Lord and King, Jesus! As the lightning shines from the east to the west, the entire heavens are lit up in glory! The whole universe stands still for 30 minutes in silence as Jesus Christ returns to earth to gather His elect!

Weightlessness! Our bodies are lifted swiftly into the air as the sky fills with others. Thousands! Clouds of human bodies that are transformed in the twinkling of an eye, all soaring towards Jesus!

Earth recedes! Heaven opens!

Streams of followers of Christ flow up from all around the globe and the whole world of unbelievers watches on camera, on computers, on TV's. It's a phenomena. It's a miracle and marvel. What does it mean?

Those left behind have little time to think because a huge earthquake sets the planet rocking and reeling! Fear grips those who have hidden themselves in underground bunkers and caves of the mountains. They scream in agony to the rocks,

"FALL ON US AND HIDE US FROM GOD'S ANGER AND JUDGEMENT!"

All that planning, all that storing up of wealth, preparing for catastrophe was a waste of time. Those who tried to save their lives have discovered their lives are LOST. Their souls are LOST.

Even still, they hear the voice of an angel warning them, instructing them on how to save themselves.

The angel announces in a loud voice:

"FEAR GOD AND GIVE GLORY TO HIM; FOR THE HOUR OF HIS JUDGMENT IS COME: AND WORSHIP HIM THAT MADE HEAVEN, AND EARTH, AND THE SEA, AND THE FOUNTAINS OF WATERS."

Last chance! God's getting ready to pour out his Wrath. You've been warned. The two witnesses preached the Gospel to you for three and a half years but you didn't listen. You celebrated their deaths. Here's your one and only last chance to be saved from severe and dire judgement. ARE YOU GOING TO LISTEN?

Meanwhile back in Heaven:

God's children are rejoicing and celebrating. There's a huge party going on. It's a wedding feast! The wife of Christ has made herself ready. She is arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.

Revelation 19:9 And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.

Where is the Groom?

(He has some unfinished business to take care of. Having redeemed his bride from the clutches of the evil one, her Hero is going back to avenge her.)

He is sitting on a white horse; "and He that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns; and He had a name written, that no man knew, but He Himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and His name is called The Word of God. And the armies which were in heaven followed Him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of His mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it He should smite the nations: and He shall rule them with a rod of iron: and He treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And He hath on His vesture and on His thigh a name written, King of Kings, and Lord of Lords." (Rev. 19:11-16)

Meanwhile on the Earth:

An angel is inviting all the fowls that fly in the skies to come to another supper! This is the Supper of the Great God and man flesh in on the menu! Yummy! (Rev. 19:17-18)

The question is: Do you want to eat or do you want to be eaten? Do you want to be invited to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb or do you want to BE supper?

Quit Allowing Satan to Waste your Life!

I was thinking about calling this post: "Quit Wasting Time" or "Quit Wasting Energy" but then I decided, it's our life that the Devil wants to waste. He wants to waste our time, energy, strength, spiritual connection with God. He wants to drain us, weaken us and makes us totally useless as a vessel of the Lord. That's his purpose.

Sometimes it might help to know what the enemy is up to and why.

WE OFTEN HAVE A CLEAR CHANNEL TO THE DEVIL.

The secret is that he doesn't want us to know it's him! That's how he can accomplish so much. By the time we're down-and-out, depressed and suicidal, we start to realize that "maybe" it wasn't just our own thoughts that got us to this place. Maybe there was somebody or something else leading us down the garden path to destruction.

He takes us into the past because he knows that we can do nothing to change the past. (Although, you know, with God all things are possible. So, even in the past, our prayers can change the effects of past actions. I believe it.)

However, having said that, when we find ourselves standing IN the past, mulling over past mistakes, wrong decisions and things that caused harm to ourselves and others, it's time to ask ourselves,

"WHY? Why am I thinking about the past? It's gone."

You may come to the same conclusion that I have. IT IS THE ENEMY. He takes me to a place I don't want to go to and for no good reason, no purpose except to get me upset, miserable, discouraged, depressed and regretful.

Those, my friends, are NOT the fruits of the Spirit of God.

The Devil is a TIME-WASTER.

Do you ever feel that SO much time has been lost by thinking really dumb thoughts? Have you ever jerked yourself up and snapped out of a wasted hour or two of negativity and non-productivity? You feel like you've been spinning your wheels? You feel like, all of a sudden there's this HUGE MOUNTAINOUS MESS OF IMPOSSIBILITIES in your lap that you NEVER ASKED FOR!

Well, ok, if you haven't ever felt like that, I'm happy for you. You must be super-human. But, I HAVE. I admit it. Sometimes life seems impossible.

Nothing has changed. The ceiling didn't cave in. God is still on His throne. Yet, life just SEEMS impossible for no particular reason, or maybe for ALL KINDS OF STUPID REASONS that I couldn't possibly have made up on my own. It took a skillful master of GARBAGE to come up with 101 reasons to hate life and everybody on the planet.

What I'm trying to do here is to expose some of the inner workings of our PE#1. (Public Enemy Numero Uno, otherwise known as the Stupid One.) If the Devil has ANY super powers (which, by the way, he does NOT) they would be #1 stupidity #2 rebelliousness #3 deception #4 fearfulness

Do you call those powers? The Devil has no power. His non-power is in fear, deception and WASTING OUR TIME! It's up to US to STOP LISTENING TO HIM.

When Jesus went out into the wilderness for forty days just before the beginning of His ministry, the scripture says, He went out to be tempted of the Devil. Wow! Are you kidding me, Jesus? You deliberately went out there to be tempted? How does that make any sense? Why would You do that?

Like they say on some TV shows: DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME!

Seriously. We cannot be Jesus. We can't just WALK ONTO THE DEVIL'S TERRITORY AND WELCOME HIS TEMPTATIONS. Well, we CAN, but it won't bode well for us if we do. That's because we are not Jesus. Only Jesus could do something like that. So, if we DO find ourselves inadvertently "out in the wilderness being tempted of the Devil" we better get Jesus to fight the Devil for us.

Ok, so here's Jesus deliberately going out to face the enemy. Does he arm himself? Does he bring along his sword, shield, helmet and a bunch of army rations? How does he plan to face the Devil head on?

He FASTS. He deliberately allows his physical body to be weakened. Or, on the other hand, He was concentrating so deeply on His Father God that he didn't require food. Or, perhaps He didn't realize how long He had gone without food.

Have you ever been so absorbed in reading the Word and communing with God that you have forgotten to eat?

To me, forty days is a heck of a long time. It's over a month and if I dared to try to go without food, for one thing, I'd probably faint. I'd be too weak to work, so I'd be broke, but that's beside the point. I just feel that I would never want the Devil to waste so much of my time. But, that's all human judgment, isn't it? In God's eyes, Jesus needed this battle. It was the foundation of his ministry. Satan needed to be conquered with the WORD OF GOD.

The funny thing is, I wonder whether Satan even realized that, though HE was ATTACKING, Jesus was the VICTOR that day. Satan was overcome and stripped of his authority over the King of Kings at that moment.

Round ONE: Knock out!

Round TWO: He's DOWN!

Round THREE: He's OUT FOR THE COUNT!

Hallelujah! The angels came to minister to Jesus, the newly crowned VICTOR! AMEN!

Matthew 4

1 Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.

We see here that it is the Spirit of God that is "leading" Jesus into the wilderness for one express purpose.

2 And when He had fasted forty days and forty nights, He was afterward an hungred.

This was a true fast both day and night. Not many could survive without food for that length of time.

3 And when the tempter came to Him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.

WHEN DID THE DEVIL COME TO HIM? Exactly. He came when he figured Jesus was STARVING. He was going to use that against Him. Notice how scripture calls him the tempter? Satan doesn't even get to be called "Lucifer" or Satan or even the Devil, just simply the stupid, silly, weak and useless, childish, foolish tempter. Like a little kindergarten kid on the playground.

All Jesus had to do was to quote the Word. Jesus IS the Word and Jesus quoted the Word in the Spirit of God. BOY does the Devil HATE that! He tucks his scrawny tail between his knobby knees and FLEES at the WORD OF GOD.

All in all, the Devil (or the tempter or as Jesus called him, the liar) is a puny, disgusting, disobedient, weak, wimpy TIME WASTER! THINK about how much TIME he has already wasted of our LIVES! I, for one, do NOT want to waste any more of my precious time on the PUNK!

The ONLY ONE Who deserves ALL my time and attention and communication is JESUS CHRIST, the Messiah, Prince of Peace, King of Kings, Lord of Lords and CONQUEROR OF SATAN!

Resist the Devil and he will flee from you! Leave the lousy loser to languish in LOSERVILLE. Join the WINNERS with our Number One Winner of All TIME. Our Forever Champion: King Jesus!

Perfect Peace

The Bible says, "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Thee, because he trusteth in Thee." Isaiah 26:3. That's a good reason to keep our mind constantly on the Lord. Peace is a rare commodity these days. It seems people prefer to have constant noise and confusion. We spend hours online, listening to stories, watching what other people are involved in, absorbing information, getting all kinds of input. It all adds up to a "confusion of tongues".

Then, at night, when we're trying to go to sleep, our brain is buzzing and humming, shooting out information and pictures that we took in during the day. It's like our brain cells are on overload and hyper-stimulated, vibrating with beehives of data.

When we pick up a Bible, it's like a soothing balm. It radiates peace, faith, comfort, complete love. One word of scripture can put our minds at ease.

"Great peace have they which love Thy law and nothing shall offend them." So says, Psalm 119:165.

In John 14:27, Jesus said, "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you. Not as the world giveth give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."

It's simple. True peace comes from keeping our mind on Jesus. The way to do that is to read and memorize the Word. If you can't memorize it, be sure to have a Bible handy to constantly refer to!

The Sword of the Lord Trumps the Physical Swords!

Isaiah 59:19 says, "So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him."

And what is the "standard"?

Our standard, our "Law", our power, our weapon is... the WORD OF GOD.

Get it? Have you discovered the power of God's Word yet? Have you applied it to impossible situations in your own life? Have you witnessed the miracles that come about when we claim the Word of God for healing, finances, leading and protection, etc.?

The Word of God is quick (alive) and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing assunder of soul and spirit and of the joints and marrow and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Hebrews 4:12

How we treat the Word, how we react when someone gives us a verse or quotes the Word is somewhat telling about our spiritual condition and what is most important in our lives.

If someone gets a verse for you, it's exciting. That means that the Lord gave you a verse to personally apply to yourself. If we are putting the Word first, we are automatically putting God first because He is the Word. But, if you say you're putting God first and you don't give priority to His Word, the work you're involved in will probably not go far or stand for long.

That's what the Bible means when it talks about building our house on the Rock. Of course Jesus is the Rock of Salvation, but He is also the Word.  Revelation 19:13 (And He was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and His name is called The Word of God.)

So, what should we do when we are under attack?

Ok, that's the question but I just realized that WE ARE ALWAYS UNDER ATTACK. Think about it. We are on the devil's territory wherever we go in this world and we are surrounded by devils, demons and humans possessed of devils. As soldiers of Christ, we will always be in the minority! It seems like a negative observation but I do believe it is accurate. It's scriptural. The apostles told us so! Jesus told us so!

Here are a few verses to describe what our planet will be like before the return of Christ:

Matthew 24:10 And then shall many be offended and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. 12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. 38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying (having sex) and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,...

Mark 13:12 Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death, 13And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake:

2Peter 3:3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts. (Lust includes lusting after money, food, power, and of course, sex. It's ok to be aroused over your own wife or husband, but not to intentionally allow yourself to be aroused over someone you know you shouldn't be.)

I John 2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. (If worldliness is not of God, it can only be of the Devil.)

The Devil is the god of this world. This may come as a hard saying, but we are not supposed to love this world.

I John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world, If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

Have you ever wondered why you don't seem to enjoy the things of this world: the noise they call music, the confusion they call partying, the violent movies and TV they call entertainment? It's just ungodly. Pure and simple, it's not of God, so, what's to like about it?

We all have a few cling-ons from the past, a few bad habits and desires that we shouldn't have. But, eventually we should love the Lord our God with our all and turn away from the pleasures of sin. There are godly pleasures, beautiful music, God's creation, scriptural joy, etc. That's choosing the good and eschewing the evil. All that to say that if it's not of God or it's not scriptural, it's of the Devil. There are only two choices.

So, when the attacks of the Devil cross over into the PHYSICAL REALM, then what?

In my estimation, I'd say that the physical attacks of the enemy should be treated exactly the same as the spiritual attacks, with prayer and the Word.

I'm not going to be one to suggest that we run out and buy guns or weapons. That's really got to be according to your faith. Some may claim that Jesus was in favour of having a weapon. He said in Luke 11:21 & 22
"When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace: But when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcome him, he taketh from him all his armour wherein he trusted, and divideth his spoils."

I don't know how you interpret that verse but the way I read it is that a physical weapon can be overcome by someone more powerful. Our spiritual weapon is the One that will remain strong! God will be our shield, our protection, our weapon. In the Bible, God turned his children's enemies blind! He tricked them! He had them kill each other. He drowned them. He put a protective barrier around his children. He guided a small stone to kill a giant.

There have been all kinds of miracles throughout ancient and modern history of ways in which God protected his own.

I heard of a soldier who was shot point blank but didn't get hurt because the bullet was stopped by a small Bible he had in his shirt pocket! I heard of another man who was being executed but God didn't allow the bullets to harm him. I heard of a Christian family whose house remained standing even after all the other houses around it burned to the ground. The fire lept over that one house.

When the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him! Let God deal with your enemy. It takes faith. But, God really is your best weapon. He is the Word. If you get to know Him intimately, He'll be all you ever need.

Drown Your Fear in Faith

When Jesus told us not to fear, it was more than just good advice. Just as He told us to love one another, He told us not to fear. And when Jesus makes a suggestion, we should take it as an order. He is our Commanding Officer. He knows best. He has the battle plan. So, although He makes it sound like a suggestion and He never shouts orders at us, as good soldiers, we should take His suggestions and advice very seriously.

DO IT! You'll be glad you did!

IS FEAR A CHOICE? Do we actually have a CHOICE to not fear?

Abolutely! A resounding YES on that one! Fear is a choice. It's the WRONG choice. We allow fear in when we stop trusting God. We invite fear in. We feed it. We nurture it!

But, what did Jesus say about fear? He said, "DON'T DO IT!" In other words:

"LET NOT YOUR HEART BE TROUBLED, NEITHER LET IT BE AFRAID." (John 14:27b)

It's our choice. We can choose to allow fear to control our thoughts and actions and speak fear and doubt. Or, we can allow faith and trust to take the wheel and speak faith.

I have known several strong believers who indulge in fear. It sort of amazes me because these folks have so much faith and love the Lord but, it often seems that the fear has become a habit or an accepted weakness that some of us make excuses for. There are multitudes of different fears out there to assail us. It's like, "Choose your poison." But I choose none of it.

Ok, I admit, I am a little afraid of cock-roaches. As I confront them, the fear lessens, but the fear of cockroaches seems to be my Achilles heel. Because cock-roaches are ugly and huge, I have justified in my mind that fear. But, I know it's wrong and I know that the Lord can help me to conquer it.

Then, there's the fear of the future. THAT'S a big one! How many of us have a fear of the future? Someone starts talking about the progression of what's going on in the world in politics, the weather, earthquakes, floods, famines and diseases and it sets off panic bells. Right?

Without the Lord, I would be in constant panic. "How are we going to survive? We're all gonna DIE!" Which brings me to another fear: DEATH. And, yes, we're all gonna die... sooner or later. But, even then we should have no fear!

In Psalm 34:4, David says, "I sought the Lord, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears."

Psalm 91:5 says, "Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;"

Terror is fear. Terrorists are people who use fear to their advantage. Terrorism is the noun. Terrorism is the embodiment of fear. The Devil knows that when we are terrified, we are NOT TRUSTING GOD.

You can't do both! You either fear God or you fear the Devil. Fear of God leads to life. Fear of the devil leads to death.

IT'S TIME TO FACE OUR FEARS!

 What are you afraid of?

Are you afraid of the dark? (Don't laugh I know believers who cannot sleep without a light on.) Are you afraid of snakes? rats? cock-roaches? germs? diseases? break-ins? poverty? accidents? failure? the opinions of others? teachers? Immigrations officers?

What is your biggest fear?

Psalm 35:4 Say to them that are of a fearful heart , Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; He will come and save you.

Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might! "Not by (your) might, nor by (your) power but by My Spirit, saith the Lord." Zechariah 4:6

God said in Isaiah 41:10, "Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness."

Take it as a command that we must obey. DO NOT FEAR!

The fact that prophecies are being fulfilled should excite us. The fact that the end is near should thrill us. The fact that all these things are coming on the earth in our days means that our God is indeed in control and He knows way ahead of time what's going to happen. He is our God. It proves to us that we were right in believing in the One True God Who has told us thousands of years ago what is going to happen in the end time.

Every time that things line up with Bible prophecy, it increases my faith. So, therefore, if God loves us enough to tell us step-by-step and inch-by-inch exactly how the last days will unfold, doesn't it stand to reason that He loves us enough to prepare us for our individual destinies? In fact, Jesus told us in Luke 21:18 & 19,

"Ye shall be hated of all men for My name's sake. But there shall not an hair of your head perish."

That's a verse I am claiming! It's ours to claim and it's according to our faith to ask God for what we want. So, what I want is that not a hair of my head shall perish! I mean, they fall out all the time and that's ok, but God is not going to allow my enemy to touch me! Hallelujah! I believe it!

God puts a protective bubble around His children!

We Will Not Fear!

If I were your commanding officer and you were in my army, my first order would be:

DO NOT ALLOW YOURSELF TO FEAR.

Fear is a lie. It contradicts the Word of God. In effect, there is no such thing as fear.

The world is run by fear. Isn't it? But believers in the True God are not of the world.

John 15:19 says, "If ye (YOU) were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth (HATES) you."

Fear is a lie of the Devil and therein lies his power. The Devil is a liar and the Father of Lies. So, WHY DO WE LISTEN TO HIM?

Imagine how powerful an army we could be if we were removed of all fear. A FEARLESS ARMY. We should be fearless! We have nothing to fear. "If God be for us, who can be against us?"

The martyrs didn't die cowering in fear! They were NOT shaking in their boots! If you think that then you are believing a LIE. You don't have to believe everything you hear. You don't have to give the Devil an audience. Let him die of loneliness.

We are supposed to be over-comers, not underneathers. We are supposed to be in charge of the Devil! Did you know that? WE HAVE AUTHORITY OVER THE DEVIL. ABSOLUTE AUTHORITY. YES, WE DO! WE CAN COMMAND THE DEVIL and HE MUST OBEY IN THE NAME OF JESUS.

I am not making this up!

Have I ever felt fear? Of course I have. It's a terrible feeling and I refuse to allow it to take over. Fear causes me to scream out to God and rebuke the Devil!

Here's the effect that fear has on me: it makes me feel weak, like a little weak, sick cry-baby. I feel like curling up in a little ball and hoping it all goes away. So that is very humiliating and that's a good thing! Why? Because my only alternative is to ask God for help. The only way out of fear is through Jesus. There is no other way. He is the Prince of Peace. And the name of Jesus has ALL POWER.

Even if the circumstances don't change immediately, step one is to rid yourself of fear. Fear is your biggest enemy. FACE IT AND REBUKE IT! Just say, "I COMMAND YOU TO LEAVE IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST!"

Simple.

Then, to calm yourself, you can just thank the Lord and praise the Lord and allow the Holy Spirit to fill you and the circumstances with the power of Love. Love never fails.

Maybe you don't have huge fears. But, how many of us feel worry? pressure? fretfulness? panic? insecurity?

Of course, there are some people who love the adrenaline rush that fear causes. They love to watch horror movies and take frightening risks. That's the other extreme which I don't recommend. To purposely jump into a risky situation is like tempting God, as Jesus said when the devil told him to throw himself down from a pinnacle of the temple, "Thou shalt not tempt the Lord, thy God." (Matthew 4:6 & 7)

As long as we have these physical, fleshly bodies, we will be tempted to fear. Some kinds of fear can protect us from danger but, mostly, as Christians, the fear we experience is of the Devil. God's Spirit will warn us or cause us to pause or hesitate, but not to panic. If that adrenaline-filled panic hits, rebuke it and ask Jesus to calm you down. Sometimes I tell myself, "Chill out. Calm down." In a sense, I'm ordering my flesh to bring itself into subjection to the Spirit.

Reign in your fear. Don't allow it to take the reigns. It's unscriptural. It's a lie. It has no place in God's kingdom.

"Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven!"

Look at the example Jesus gave us. He was attacked by the enemy before His death and He cried out to God in the Garden of Gethsemane. I think He was double-checking to make sure that His crucifixion was God's perfect will because He asked God to take it away. "Nevertheless, not my will, but Thine be done." So, once He talked to God about it and He knew it was God's will, He got up, ready to face his destiny. When the soldiers came to arrest Him, He was at total peace and calm.

God didn't take the cup away and He didn't change the circumstances. But, God took away the fear. Jesus got the anointing to go through what He had to go through. And, that's not to say that He didn't suffer.

But, what we are called to go through is not to be compared with taking on all the sins of the world. We will never be called by God to go through something we don't have the anointing and power to go through!

"There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it." I Corinthians 10: 13

FACE YOUR FEAR. It is a lie of the Devil. It has no power over us unless we allow it to. Command it to leave. Cast it into the pit of hell! It is not allowed to hang around!

And though it's hard to admit, fear comes in where we have weakness. Yes, the enemy knows our weaknesses. He knows where to hit us. Like in those action movies where the bad guy always presses on the hero's previous injuries and wounds, the Devil knows where it will hurt us the most.

So, we should learn to identify our own weaknesses and focus on placing our armour where it is most needed. The first thing to protect is our MIND. THAT'S THE BATTLEFIELD for the most part.

Put on the helmet of SALVATION!

That battle for our soul has been WON! We don't need to fret, fear or worry about whether or not we will be saved! WE ARE SAVED BY THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST. And though we are FAITHLESS, He remains FAITHFUL! HE CANNOT DENY HIMSELF. In other words, you cannot lose your salvation!

If you are truly born again, you cannot lose your salvation! YOU ARE BORN AGAIN. You live in a different world than before, the world of the Spirit of God. God's Kingdom. Heaven is IN us! THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS HERE AND NOW IN US! WE ARE IT!

You have been born again into the Kingdom of God if you have received Jesus Christ as your Saviour. If you are a born-again Christian, your job is to STOP LISTENING TO THE LIES OF THE DEVIL! Take up that white-hot sword of the WORD OF GOD and go on the ATTACK!

Quit letting the Devil walk all over you! Preach the Word at him! Command him to leave! He hates to hear you praising God! Fill the atmosphere all around you with praise to the Lord and the Devil will flee!
