Tone of Voice

 I can tell a lot about a person from their tone of voice. Tone is everything. Even more significant than the words, although the words are also important. But when some people talk to me, I can actually feel the hatred behind their words through the tone of their voice. I know exactly what they're thinking about me, about life and more importantly, about God. Yes, you can tell how a person feels about God by the way they talk to you. Why?

Because a believer (a true believer, born again and Spirit-filled) represents God. You represent Jesus Christ. Just by breathing. Just by being on the planet. And a non-believer or someone who pretends to be a follower of Christ, can pick up on that right away, even if they don't consciously know it. They know it in their soul, in their subconscious mind. They feel it probably even through the devil himself or one of the devil's minions.

Most people (even Christians!) can hear from the devil or demons loud and clear and better than they can hear from God. It's sad but true. So, when a true, on-fire, Bible-believing, loving and kind Christian comes along, it really rubs us the wrong way --unless we're primed to receive positive other-worldly communications from the throne of God. Get it?

Let's face it. We're living in a fallen world. We have adjusted to surviving, compromising, accommodating life on this planet in the surroundings and narrative of SATAN. Right? Or not? Think about it, please before you jump to a conclusion. 

In fact, jumping to conclusions is what most people do. Instead, we should take a step back and take a breath, pull ourself into the present and try to focus on THE TRUTH. Which is, of course, the WORD. The Word is our Anchor, our Guide, our  Frame of Reference which brings us back to center. It centers us, balances us, straightens us out and corrects our flight pattern. It's something we should be referring to continually, especially when we're out and about worldly people. We don't want to become worldly.

That is a LOT easier said than done, I know. We have to be on the offensive continually. We have to be the ones who are reaching out to help others, give to others, inspire others and show the way. Right? Am I right? Because isn't it true that you are either the victim or the hero? The down-and-out or the uplifter? The problem or the solution? There are no neutrals. Like there are only two poles on a magnet. WE are the positive pole. And although it feels like that negative pole is winning, it's NOT. 

In fact, my brother and sister, we have already won. The enemy cannot hurt us. Be not afraid of their faces. Be not afraid of the tone of their voice. It can only hurt them. See?

When they speak to you in a negative tone, an accusing tone, trying to make you MISERABLE like they are, trying to spread their misery and you just LET IT BOUNCE RIGHT OFF OF YOU, well, that negative misery has to go somewhere. So, where does it go? Exactly. It goes RIGHT BACK TO WHERE IT CAME FROM. Now, I know that's very sad and we do feel a little sorry for that miserable victim of circumstances that were "not of their making", don't we? But, we're NOT going to let their misery affect us, not for one nanosecond. Because that would just be counter-productive.

It's just not our job to feel sorry for people who want to subsist in their misery and want to pull others down with them. It is simply not our calling or ministry to even allow them to connect or communicate with us. Once they have identified themselves, we put up a red flag. We put yellow crime tape around them in our minds because we need to remind ourselves that that person is a crime scene and no good will come from communicating with them. They'll cost you money. They'll waste your time. They'll steal your joy if you allow them to. They may promise you the moon but all you'll get out of their dark, bottomless pit is . . . THAT'S RIGHT! You've got it! 

MISERY.

Misery is their first name and Misery is their last name and their middle name is MORE. There's no end to their misery. And the crazy thing is that they are deceived into thinking that they can get happy by SHARING their misery. So, that's their mission: SHARE MISERY.

When they come across someone who is happy, they can't BEAR it. It's like a mole who climbs out of a deep, dark hole and finds himself in the brilliant light of day. It hurts. It's disgusting. Revolting to him. 

Do you know what they do? They start to lecture the believer about how wrong they are, how dogmatic, how stupid and uneducated they are. Have you ever experienced that? Sure you have. If you are a born-again believer in the Cross of Christ, you have experienced that many times in your life. And let me tell you (if nobody else has already told you) you CANNOT change them. You cannot convince them that there's a better way. They know it all. They are "older and wiser" than you. Or so they think.

There's no sense in wasting your time trying to convert the one who's mind is made up. "My mind is made up so don't confuse me with the facts." Shed your light and move on. If they are not curious to know about the Higher Power, the joy of knowing Jesus, the Light of the World, let them go off on another cycle of self-deprecation and misery. 

You can throw them a lifeline. That's all you can do. You can't change their mind. You can't convince them with arguments. Maybe give them a verse out of the Word to chew on. Who knows? It cold stick in their mind and eventually they could allow it to shed some light on their path. All I know is that, with dyed-in-the-wool narcissists, that deep, dark hole they insist on staying in gets deeper and deeper every day because they seem to be digging their way to hell. And, yes, it's very, very sad, especially when that person in that hole is a close relative or friend. Very sad indeed.

What can we do? Pray. That's not a small thing to do. That is THEE most powerful thing you can do. PRAY. Pray in love and faith and you can turn the hand of God. Ask God to show up in their life in a powerful way. God can show up in a prison cell, in a mosque, in a hospital room. He's more willing to show up than we are willing to ask Him to show up. And remember:

IT IS NOT GOD'S WILL FOR ANY HUMAN BEING TO GO TO HELL. Hell is reserved. It's on reservation. Human beings are not supposed to push their way in. It's not like a popular bistro where they serve your favorite food. Hell is somewhere nobody wants to go. They may think they do, but when they get there, yikes! "Boy! Did I ever make a wrong turn at the intersection! GET ME OUTTA HERE!"

Jesus warned us against it. Do I need to quote you chapter and verse? Okay. Here goes. 

Matthew 24:13 But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the Kingdom of Heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in. 15 Woe unto you, scribes and Parisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.

Matthew 13:40 - 43 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire: so shall it be in the end of this world. The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear."

49-50 So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just, And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth."

Luke 12:5 But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear Him, which after He hath killed hath power to cast into Hell: yea, I say unto you, Fear him.

Jesus described an afterlife of weeping and gnashing of teeth which didn't sound like He was describing Heaven.

Luke 13:25 - 30

When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and He shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are: Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in Thy presence, and thou has taught in our streets, But He shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from Me, all ye workers of iniquity. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the Kingdom of God and you yourselves thrust out. And they shall come from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and shall sit down in the Kingdom of God. And behold, there are last which shall be first, and there are first which shall be last. 

I used to believe that there was no hell or if there was a hell that only the very worst followers of Satan would ever be cast into hell. However, in time I came to realize that whether or not I believed in something didn't change the facts. There is a Hell. There must be. Otherwise Christ died for nothing.

The Resurrection

 I wanted to talk about the resurrection of our Lord because I think there are a few discrepancies surrounding the who and the why and wherefores. Jesus said, "As often as ye eat this bread and drink this cup, ye do show the Lord's death till He come." something like that. I'll look it up later.

Yesterday, I had Holy Eucharist at an Anglican church and was delighted to find that they served real wine. And it wasn't cheap wine, either. So, as I was receiving the cup, the lovely lady priest tipped it right up and I got a nice gulp. Then, a man priest came along also holding a silver cup and I looked up at him and smiled. But before I could hesitate, he put the cup to my lips and tipped up another swallow. Just like that. I really had to pinch myself to prevent myself from laughing. I guess I got doubly blessed!

So, since Jesus said, "as often as ye eat..." I have communion with myself every day. When I break the bread and think of how Jesus's body was broken for me, it brings tears to my eyes. I was thinking today, "They treated Your body like it was a piece of meat to be eaten. First they beat You to tenderize Your flesh completely. (Right through to His bones! Jesus looked down and could see His ribs sticking out.) Then they hung You up in the sun to age Your flesh a little. Hung you on meat hooks and let the blood run out. 

The Jews treated their lambs for sacrifice with more mercy. 

And here's the thing I wanted to talk about. We believers seem to like to blame the Romans for torturing Jesus. But, was it really the Roman's fault that He fell into their hands? Yes, they were barbarians. That was their deal. That's how they conquered the known world. But, don't put all the blame on them for the torture and death of our Lord. After all, Jesus Himself asked God to forgive them and He even told God the reason, "They know not what they do."

How could they? They were Roman soldiers. Heathens. What they were taught was everything it took to torture, humiliate, and slowly, slowly kill a malefactor. That was their job and they did it well. But, did Jesus tell the Romans that they were of their father the devil? 

Nope. That was the Pharisees, whose modern day successors are today's Christian hierarchy that love the praises of men and choose the best seats in the temples. It was the Pharisees that arrested Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane. It was the Pharisees who paid Judas to betray Him. And it was the Pharisees who insisted that Barabbas be set free instead of Jesus. Not the other way around.

Pilate tried hard to deliver Jesus out of the hands of His enemies because his wife warned Him that He was an innocent man. And because he could feel the love in the few words that Jesus spoke to him.

A Roman centurion who saw Jesus die, cried out, "Truly this man was the Son of God." 

You didn't see any of the Pharisees confess that Jesus was the Messiah, although they probably had a feeling that He was. After all, Jesus fulfilled all the scriptures that they had studied throughout their careers. So, if anyone was accountable, it was those of the Sanhedrin. 

They knew what they were saying when they screamed, "Crucify Him!" They knew just how cruel and terrible crucifixion was. But they hated Jesus. Jesus had exposed them time and again for their selfishness, mercilessness, hypocrisy and pride. They had many reasons to hate Him. It was either repent, like Nicodemus, or hate Him. And, obviously they chose wrong. I'm sure they regret their decisions now. Wouldn't wanna be 'em. 

So, please, let's quit putting the blame on the Romans. They were only the instrument the Sanhedrin used to bring about salvation for the whole world.

WE ALL CRUCIFIED HIM. I put Him on that cross with my sins and so did you. There was no other way for us to be allowed into the perfection of Heaven. To be born again into new life. To sit on the very throne of God with Jesus, our King. He went to Hell for us so that we don't have to. He suffered for us so that we don't have to. He took the sting out of death for us. Little old us! Go figure that.

I'm not saying either that the Jews were totally to blame for the death of Jesus. Yes, they instigated it. But, it was all a part of God's plan. Some of the most on-fire dedicated disciples were Jews. Some of the best of the best were Israelis. 

Many Israelis coming to Christ nowadays have said that they were not told the truth about Jesus. Growing up, they were taught to spit at the name of Jesus. It was only through the sincere reading of the scriptures that they eventually came to realize that Jesus Christ has indeed fulfilled all the prophecies written in their Torah about the Messiah. 

Yes! He has come! He came! He healed! He delivered! He died! And He has risen again and sits on the right hand of God the Father. AND He will COME AGAIN! 

He will come again to gather His elect from the four corners of Heaven from one end of Heaven to the other! Then He will rescue His bride and take her to the WEDDING SUPPER OF THE LAMB. I do love to eat lamb but I don't think we'll be eating lamb at that feast. Who can think about food at a time like that? We'll have our new bodies! We'll have supernatural health and freedom like never before. No mortgages, no rent, no taxes, no electric bills, no medical bills! Just pure, unadulterated bliss.

That is IF you have received Jesus Christ the Messiah as your personal Savior! DO IT TODAY. That is one decision you will NEVER regret. I promise!

 

Were the California Fires the Judgment of God? - Psalm 37

 Before you come to a conclusion about what my answer is to the title question, let me tell you the answer I will give you is an emphatic, "NO." God is NOT judging anyone anywhere at all. Not until Jesus returns with the 144,000 Israeli soldiers on horses. THEN we're going to see some judgment. But, until then, it's all up to us humans down here making our own choices and, of course, the devil/satan who some call Lucifer who was the Light Bearer but is no longer light but a very dark dude indeed. So, no God is not judging people, not using the devil to judge people and not condemning anyone who is lost and searching. He welcomes you with open arms. He's a loving, forgiving, merciful God. That's not to say He will tolerate sin. But, He helps us to overcome sin. Neither is our God a harsh God Who declares jihad on the so-called "infidels". Not. That's not our God. Don't ever call Him Allah. Please.

This is Psalm 37 with commentary. "Fret not thyself because of evil-doers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity."

Anybody who is envious of the workers of iniquity might be thinking, "Hollywood, all those movie stars; they're rich and how did they make their money?" Well, did they work iniquity? You could possibly say that for the most part, I'd say the majority of movie stars have, throughout their career, pretended to be fornicating and committing adultery on screen. There's a lot of iniquity committed in their movies and in the production of their movies. I've heard that some of them were actually "doing the deed" while the cameras were rolling. We know that many of them were naked or nearly naked --not that's the worst sin of all. Then there's the foul language, the drinking, smoking, pretending to be those characters that they were portraying; you could say that's kind of committing iniquity.

I'm not saying that Hollywood movie stars are the worst people in the world. That brings to mind the Alex Baldwin, involuntary manslaughter case. (What on earth was a loaded gun doing on the set?) I'm just saying, don't be envious of these people who have a lot of money, because, maybe it's possible that they are workers of iniquity.

I don't think we should compare ourselves to anybody, really. That's what gets you in trouble. That's what causes jealousy. Now, if we want to talk about jealousy now, I think we should talk about jealousy because jealousy is what they call the "Seven-Headed Monster". It's a terrible demon. It's a spirit. It's a demon. 

I have felt jealousy. I have felt jealousy take control of my emotions. It's a terrible, forceful demon, as far as I'm concerned. It is triggered very quickly when you start comparing yourself with another person. It really doesn't matter who that person is --it could be a person that's uglier than you but they're happier than you, or it could be a person who's richer than you are and you don't believe they are worthy of it. You can't compare yourself to other people because --here's the next verse:

"For they shall soon be cut down like the grass and wither as the green herb." Rather than comparing yourself, what you're supposed to do is what it says in verse 3:

"Trust in the Lord, and do good;" Those two things are going to prevent you from being envious against the workers of iniquity... "so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed." So, what do  you need to dwell in the land? You kind of need a roof over your head. I would call that "dwelling". You need a dwelling and you need food. So, if you trust in the Lord and you do good, you can have a roof over your head and food in your belly.

It's going to come to the point where that's all you care about is a roof over your head and food in your belly and maybe some clothes on your back and shoes on your feet. Other than that, you're going to realize that those are your priorities. You're still alive. You're healthy. You've got a roof over your head and food in your stomach. God is going to take care of everything, if you trust in Him. 

"Delight thyself also in the Lord; and He shall give thee the desires of thine heart." If you delight yourself in the Lord, He will give you the desires of your heart! So what else could you possibly want? If you've got a roof over your head, food in your stomach and --on top of that --the cherry on the cake is the desires of your heart. Some of us have a lot of desires in our hearts. And if you're delighting yourself in the Lord, your desires are going to be godly.

You can just relax and trust God that your desires are godly. They're good. And, you're going to get them. Maybe not right away, not all of them right away, but you're going to get the desires of  your heart if you delight yourself in the Lord. 

This is a really great chapter for right now because we're seeing California burn. We're seeing Hollywood and mansions that were worth millions of dollars; these mansions start at three million a piece, right? These Malibu mansions and Hollywood mansions that are no longer, they're dust. They're dust, now! They withered as the green herb. Even Witherspoon's mansion is gone. And, Ben Affleck lost his house. So many wealthy people have lost millions of dollars worth of homes.

One woman was able to recover a safe and get it open that was inside her house. She managed to get out some valuables out of her safe. So, I guess if you've got a safe in your house, that's not a bad idea. But, remember, that's going to be the only thing that survives a fire like that. Her safe remained locked and it remained all in one piece, kind of like the black box in a plane. It survived the disaster. 

What's your most valuable possession? For me, it's my Bible but my Bible is not irreplaceable. I put my Bible in my heart. That's my safe. It's locked. It's locked in. Even if you burn me to death --all the better. Hahaha. Seriously.

"Commit they way unto the Lord; trust also in Him; and He shall bring it to pass." We're going to say to trust in the Lord, delight yourself in the Lord and now, commit thy way unto the Lord. He's going to help you live out your destiny. There is a destiny for each one of us because God has written a book for each one of us that has our destiny in it.

God knew that I was going to be sitting here, reading His Word after the California fires burned down thousands of acres, if not millions. I don't know if it's millions but it's so much land that it has aroused people's suspicion, especially since the insurance companies revoked the insurance on so many of these homes. I don't see how that's legal for them to do that. I don't understand how they can close your insurance policy if you've been paying into it and you have made an agreement with your insurance company, I don't see how the insurance company can all of a sudden say, "No. Your insurance is revoked because we know the future. We know that there's going to be the Santa Ana winds that are going to carry this so-called wildfire throughout California and burn down all these houses that we have insured in the past."

It's wrong on so many levels, I can't do the subject justice. Not enough water, the roads were narrowed; they cut down the lanes on the highway so that the emergency vehicles couldn't get in. It was nuts. The whole thing was like they prevented the prevention and they prevented the cure. They prevented the firefighters from being able to do their job of putting out the fires.

Do I believe the California fires were the judgment of God? NO, I DO NOT. 

What I do believe is that it was an act of the devil who used wicked people to perpetrate this evil. I believe these people will not get away with this and that, one way or another, God is going to use His people to heal the land and restore it.

No, it was not the judgment of God. However, Satan had a foothold in that Blue state where Kamala Harris resides. And, as the saying goes, "If you give the devil an inch, he'll take a few  thousand acres." 

WHAT YOU CAN DO TO PREPRARE FOR THE GREAT TRIBULATION PART 2

Probably foremost to prepare for something is to find out WHEN IT BEGINS. Right? 

So, how do we do THAT? Easy peasy. It's in the Bible. WHAT? Yes, it is. It's all right in there. 

The Bible is a HISTORY BOOK. But it's also a ROAD MAP. Let's cut to the chase for our purposes here: The last book of the Bible, the Book of Revelation tells us that some things must happen PREVIOUS to the Tribulation. And those things HAVE NOT HAPPENED YET. 

Those things which must happen previous to the Tribulation are the very things that PRECIPITATE the tribulation. 

Just as the October 7th attacks were somewhat caused by the Jews' plans to build their temple, so the Tribulation will be caused by the Jewish temple being BUILT and the "Abomination of Desolation" being placed in the temple there in Jerusalem. This is what the Bible tells us.

Although it may seem totally impossible for Israel to build the third temple under these conditions, it is prophesied in Revelation and Daniel. 

You can also read in the Old Testament how that the second temple was built even though Babylon held the Jews captive and as they were building the wall, the group of Jews who were designated to repair and rebuild were constantly hindered by their enemies. Some of the same enemies that hinder them today.

What I'm trying to say is that the Great Tribulation is NOT going to suddenly occur. It will be preceded by specific prophecies being fulfilled. So, how to prepare for it??

Be aware of the SIGNS OF THE TIMES. 

There will be SEVEN FINAL YEARS. When I say FINAL, I mean before the return of Jesus Christ. He's not coming on a white horse to collect His saints. His angels will collect us UP TO HIM IN THE SKY. Every eye will see Him but He won't be coming down to land on the earth during the Rapture. He'll be gathering us together with Him from "one end of heaven to the other". 

That will happen IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE TRIBULATION.

After the Tribulation and the Rapture, THEN Jesus will return to earth on a white horse accompanied by the 144,000-strong calvary of the tribes of Israel. This time, He will touch down. Right on the top of Mount Zion.

THEN the Wrath of God will be poured out. If you believe in Jesus with your whole heart, you will already have been taken up to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. 

So. Seven years.

SEVEN.

That's one of God's favorite numbers, isn't it? 

What starts off the seven years? THAT is the question. You should be asking THAT question. I DID. And here's what the Bible says. It says there will be a COVENANT that the Antichrist will SIGN, a 7 Year Covenant of Peace.

I don't believe it's talking about peace with the US or China but peace with ISRAEL because everything revolves around Israel and it always has. Because Abraham was God's Number One. And on Abraham fall all the covenants of peace that God offered. He called Abraham's children HIS CHILDREN.

And, as we know, the true children of Abraham are the Israelites. Sorry, but the descendants of Ishmael were not included in the covenant. I know that's a stickler for a lot of people, especially the descendants of Ishmael. 

Right around the same time when this Seven Year Covenant is signed, Israel will commence building their temple and MAKING A DAILY SACRIFICE. 

But the Tribulation DOESN'T START THEN. No. The Beast/Antichrist/False Prophet will ALLOW the daily sacrifice to continue for 3 1/2 years. This is the prophecy timeline. Halfway into the 7 years, the Antichrist will BREAK the covenant and THEN shall be Great Tribulation.

THEN, those who are in Jerusalem have been warned to FLEE. GO! Drop what you're doing and leave everything behind and RUN FOR YOUR LIFE.

#1 The Covenant is Signed

#2 The Third Temple is Built

#3 The Daily Sacrifice Commences

#4 The Covenant is Broken

#5 All Hell Breaks Out beginning at JERUSALEM

How does this affect Christians? (I mean real Christians, not just addle-minded church-goers who never even crack their Bibles.)

You already know the answer to that question but if you don't, I'll spell it out for you:

Jesus was a Jew, born of the lineage of Judah who was one of the twelve sons of Israel. He was the Jewish Messiah. Whoever has received Jesus as their personal Savior has been BORN AGAIN spiritually with the Jewish Messiah living inside their heart/spirit. Which makes us Followers of the Jew/Jewish inside. We have been grafted into the Jewish tree! 

What's happening right now in Israel is that the Jews are coming to Christ and receiving Jesus as their rightful Messiah.

ON THE OTHER HAND, there are many Jews who have not received Him. Those are the ones who will build a temple to practice their Old Testament religion of sacrificing to God. But, God will NOT receive their sacrifices. Of course not. Why not?

Because Jesus WAS THE FINAL SACRFICE for the JEWS first and for ALL mankind. Yes, ALL. Every person living in a human body with a belly-button at the front is eligible to receive salvation. Arabs, Muslims, Chinese, Japanese, Peruvian, American, everybody is covered by the BLOOD OF THE LAMB = Jesus. 

All you have to do is RECEIVE it. Receive Jesus, be born again and become a son/daughter of ABRAHAM THE FATHER OF FAITH. It's that easy. Jesus did all the heavy lifting. All we have to do is ask Him to come into our hearts. Period. Nothing else. No sacrificing of animals, purification rituals, baptism, self-mutilation, fasting, praying, nothing else. Only Jesus. That's all you need. 

You may be thinking: "If I receive Jesus as my Savior, does that mean I'll be entered into the Great Tribulation?"

Not necessarily. We can talk about that another time. God always prepares a way of escape.

Remember, the reason for the Great Tribulation is the introduction of the Abomination of Desolation into the Jewish temple. Of course, building the temple is going to cause a LOT of contention. However, the Jews are going to invite ALL religions to come into their temple to worship. BAD IDEA. I mean, THAT is really going to TICK GOD OFF. 

According to Jesus, the Tribulation will CENTER around Jerusalem. So, one way to prepare ahead for this event is to GET AS FAR AWAY FROM JERUSALEM AS POSSIBLE. That's my advice. 

PRAY for JERUSALEM. Pray for Israel. 

Stay close to God and stay in communication with Him through speaking in tongues and reading your Bible. Get a good translation that doesn't omit any of the important stuff and read it. Even one hour per day of Bible-reading and asking the Holy Spirit to guide you and FILL you as you read will change your perspective on the Great Tribulation so that you will actually look forward to all the MIRACLES that are going to happen in these days ahead.

So you scroll down your Facebook page allowing your eyes to land on headlines at a glance and come across an amazing story. So, you stop and read the whole thing, even click on the "more" and keep reading. But something's stinky. Something doesn't quite jive or jell.

THE WHOLE ARTICLE WAS A COMPLETE LIE. NOT A WORD OF TRUTH IN IT. AND YOU JUST SPENT ALMOST FOUR MINUTES READING IT! 

What ISN'T fake in our world today? 

Furthermore, when there's so much that's fake, how can you tell what's real? It used to be that we could easily compare the true with the fake and know the difference. If an item of clothing had a name brand on it, it was the real deal. Because there was some kind of law Stateside that required brand names to be authentic. But, China didn't get that memo. They could care less about authenticity. 

Did you notice the low quality of our clothes nowadays? How about our socks? Walmart socks are what I would call "disposable". If you want real honest-to-goodness reinforced toes, you'll pay at least double. The usual socks will get a hole in them right at your big toe within six months. Less, if you walk a lot.

What about fake Christians? Do we want to talk about them? Of course,  nobody wants to judge. But COME ON. Get REAL. We used to say, "Just because you go to a garage doesn't make you a car any more than going to church makes one a Christian."

Maybe the question is: "WHAT IS A REAL CHRISTIAN?"

If you need to ask that question, here's the rule of thumb: A Christian is a follower of Christ. Christianity used to be a cult. And it was a severely persecuted cult at that. And if one desired to become a Christian or a follower of the teachings of Christ, they had to be willing to lay down their life for God.

That takes a little thing called HUMILITY.

And humility is not a bad thing. It's a good thing. In fact, it's a GOAL.

With that in mind, a true Christian doesn't care who gets the credit for their efforts because they believe that God is a Rewarder. In saying that, they believe GOD sees all our efforts in His direction and His direction is HELPING OTHERS. We're supposed to love other people MORE than we love ourselves.

BTW, we ARE supposed to love ourselves. We're supposed to love GOD more but we are supposed to love ourselves because we were EACH ONE OF US created IN THE IMAGE OF GOD.

Life is NOT a competition about "who's got the smartest kids" or "who's got the biggest yard" or "who makes the most money" or "who's the 'coolest' person on social media". It's really not even about winning. If there's a competition, we're competing to be the most generous, the biggest givers, the most sacrificial, the most merciful and forgiving of others. In other words, as stated above, the most HUMBLE. 

God wants to help build our character. And He usually gets a lot of mileage out of people around us who drive us crazy, test our patience to the limit, or make us feel pressured. 

However, quite often these so-called "personality disorders" that we have to deal with in people are not just disorders. Quite often they are bad spirits. Disembodied demons that have wangled their way into a person's every day life and sometimes will even speak right out of their mouth!

And, YES, Christians DO have demons. 

That's why it's so important for a newborn believer to clean his/her house out with the WORD OF GOD and get their mind REWIRED by the HOLY SPIRIT.

WORD + HOLY SPIRIT + PRAYER

Build your spiritual house on the Rock of CHRIST word upon word, line upon line until you KNOW WHAT YOU BELIEVE AND WHY YOU BELIEVE IT.

Now, all this is VERY important for newborn believers.

NEVER ASSUME THAT YOU ALREADY KNOW AS MUCH AS YOU NEED TO KNOW. THAT'S A VERY DANGEROUS STANCE TO TAKE.

You don't have to eat the fake food either. But, if you do happen to eat something you KNOW was bad for you, PRAY OVER IT. Or pray AFTER you eat it. The body can handle a few slip-ups, especially if you don't make a habit of eating garbage. Eat organic when at all possible because it makes a big difference, not only in taste but in all the reasons why we eat food. Low prices don't make junk food good for you. Maybe good for your wallet, but you'll pay the price elsewhere if you keep eating junk. 

No need to go around the grocery store reading labels to find out all the ingredients. Just DON'T BUY PACKAGED FOOD, then you won't need to read the label.

Better yet, GROW IT YOURSELF. Get some good ol' garden DIRT under your nails. Just the way God intended. 

And as far as fake genders --to me that is a very sad, sad story. Lesbians and gays are missing out on the adventure of a lifetime --a heterosexual relationship. God created us male and female. Gender confusion is an illness which causes a lot of harm. 

God created us so that HUMAN BEINGS WILL NEVER BE FULLY HAPPY until they find THEIR CREATOR. AND have a relationship WITH HIM. 

It's AMAZING. It's Transcendent. 

He is the WIND BENEATH OUR WINGS. AND He shelters us WITH HIS WINGS.

OVERCOME FEAR

 Easier said than done, right? 

It's not as difficult as you may think. Basically, it's all in your head but it doesn't need to exist anywhere. Fear is a SCAM. 

Fear is a big black hole. You can see it there but you don't need to fall into it. Satan knows that when you do fall into it, you give him full control. That's why he's laughing at you.

He knows there's nothing to fear if you believe in Jesus Christ as your Saviour, Mentor, Protector, Father, Guide and Provider. He knows that. But, he doesn't know a LOT OF STUFF that we do! He's ignorant. Furthermore, he's DUMB.

Remember, Satan is the Father of Lies, so don't believe him. 

Remember, WE ARE NOT OF THE WORLD. We walk in the Spirit of God. (Romans 8 --the whole chapter tells us how to walk in the Spirit.)

Remember, Psalm 91

Remember the RESURRECTION POWER that rose Jesus from the dead LIVES IN US. LIVES IN YOU! If you were born again and received Jesus into your heart, the SAME POWER that rose Jesus from the dead dwells in YOU.

You are more powerful than all the demons on this planet. 

BECAUSE OF THE BLOOD OF JESUS.

RESIST THE DEVIL AND HE WILL FLEE! WHY? Because he's AFRAID of the POWER of GOD in God's CHILDREN. THAT'S YOU. 

Never fear. FEAR NOT. FALL ON THE ROCK. HE HAS NEVER FAILED US YET!

DON'T BLAME GOD

 Our loving, kind, sympathetic, merciful, understanding God has been misrepresented over and over.

In our minds, we see God as being all-powerful --which He IS but we attribute His all-knowing and all-powerful attributes to mean that He is in control of everything on this planet all the time. IS THAT TRUE?

Is God in control?

We love to say that, don't we? "Don't worry, God's in control." And, "All's well with the planet because God's in His Heaven and all's right with the world."

NO IT ISN'T.

All's NOT right with the world. In fact, a LOT of stuff is happening that is NOT of God, NOT God's will and, in fact, is destructive, unfair, unloving and UNGODLY. Do I need to mention it? It's almost unmentionable and I'm not talking about undergarments. I'm talking about child-molestation, child torture, kidnappings, murders, robbery, mutilation, and on and on and on and we don't really want to talk about it, do we?

MANY THINGS GO WRONG AND MANY THINGS ARE NOT GOOD, NOT OF GOD AND NOT FAIR. BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN THAT THEY ARE OF GOD, PLANNED BY GOD OR INNITIATED BY GOD. 

THINGS LIKE CANCER. COME ON! YOU DON'T REALLY BELIEVE THAT GOD GIVES PEOPLE CANCER, DO YOU?

 I do NOT want to offend anyone who may have cancer but I want you to know (whoever you are, believer or non-believer, Christian, or any other religious believer) GOD DID NOT GIVE YOU CANCER.  That is a fact. How do I know that? Because God doesn't own cancer and carry it around to give to people!

God heals cancer.

No, He doesn't give you the flu "to teach you a lesson". 

You know what I learned when I got a devastating head-ache that lasted for TWO days? I learned that being pain-free is a blessing that I had never appreciated as much as I did after the head-ache went away. 

One might think, "Then, it was worth it." 

If you want to think that way, that's fine. We should gain something for our pain. We should get as much mileage out of our pain as possible --if you find it necessary. Just DON'T GIVE GOD THE BLAME FOR IT OR EVEN THE "CREDIT" FOR IT BECAUSE GOD DOESN'T GIVE US PAIN!

That mindset is not of God. He really doesn't want us to think like that. Yes, we can believe that "all things work together for good to them that love God" and sometimes for those that don't think they love God all that much. (How can you tell how much you love God? God knows.)

Since we're  on the subject, let's talk about war. Is WAR God's will? Does God start wars? 

People look at the Old Testament and it looks like GOD is actually sending His children into war with other nations. Do you want to talk about that? Mind you, this is Old Testament we're talking about. We should dig a lot deeper to understand the BACKGROUND STORY of WHO these nations were that Moses and Joshua were going up against. 

Another thing to consider is that these nations that Israel came into on their way to the Promised Land were IDOL-WORSHIPPERS, BABY-TORTURERS/KILLERS. THEY WERE PARTAKING OF BESTIALITY AND ALL KINDS OF PERVERSIONS --- MUCH LIKE TODAY.

Israel didn't want to go to war with Jericho. They were afraid of the giants. But, God wanted to rid the world of giants because they were not normal human beings. They were WAR MACHINES. And they are on the earth TODAY. 

Okay, so the thing is that we really can't use the Old Testament wars that Israel had to fight as a basis to believe that God is a God of WAR. 

And we can't refer to what happened in Egypt with the plagues and collapse of Egypt during the deliverance of the Israeli slaves to judge God's character as being vindictive and cruel. He gave the Egyptians plenty of warning ahead of every plague that came upon them.

Look at His treatment of the Jews in Goshen. They did not suffer the plagues because of the Blood of the Lamb. Just like TODAY. The Blood of the Lamb protects us now, too.

You may not see the Blood with your physical eyes but SATAN KNOWS it HAS DEFEATED HIM. He was defeated by the BLOOD. He knows that. He also knows that he's going to be judged. He doesn't know WHEN but he knows his time is coming and he's trying to get US to co-operate with him to BUY MORE TIME. 

Good luck with that, Lucifer/Satan/Beasty/Devil. Well, luck isn't going to help him. But OUR KNOWLEDGE of GOD/Jesus Christ/ Yeshua Hamashiak/Yaweh/Jehovah will help US --all of us who believe on the name of the Only Begotten Son of God. WE HAVE OVERCOME HIM. HE IS DEFEATED.

But, apparently, he doesn't want to accept the truth. He's very, very busy going around the planet flapping his gums and babbling in people's ears, trying to convince them that it's all GOD'S FAULT. 

DON'T LET HIM CONVINCE YOU OF THAT. 

DON'T ALLOW HIM TIME TO GET ONE WORD INTO YOUR MIND OR HEART. SHUT HIM DOWN.

Please, by all that is righteous; please don't blame God for anything bad that happens. Can we learn this one lesson? It has taken me years and years to break the habit of blaming God for things or thinking that "God did this for a reason" when something terrible happens, instead of realizing WAIT A MINUTE...

If GOD truly GAVE His only Son to suffer an excruciating DEATH to SAVE US FROM SATAN and HELL, doesn't that indicate that GOD IS A GOOD GOD WHO LOVES US?

 

    

LIVE BY THE BOOK!

 THE BIBLE IS NOT JUST A BOOK. IT'S A MAP. IT'S SPIRITUAL FOOD. IT'S A LIGHT THAT SHINES ON OUR PATH. IT'S OUR DAILY BREAD. IT'S STRENGTH, SANITY, AND A WEAPON. IT'S A SHARP, TWO-EDGED SWORD. 

TO GAIN THE BENEFITS OF GOD'S WORD, WE SHOULD STAY IN IT.

STAY UNDER THE SHADOW OF THE ALMIGHTY. HOW? STAY IN THE WORD.

THE LIFE-GIVING WORD OF GOD WILL GIVE YOU HOPE, BANISH DEPRESSION, CLEANSE YOUR HEART AND MIND AND PREPARE YOU FOR BATTLE.

WE'RE NOT COWARING UNDER THE SHADOW OF THE ALMIGHTY. WE ARE RESTING UNDER HIS SHADOW BECAUSE WE TRUST IN HIM.

FOR EVERYTHING. ALL OF IT. FINANCES, YES, HEALTH, PROTECTION, GUIDANCE.

IT'S COME TO THAT, WE NEED GOD NOW MORE THAN EVER. IT'S COME TO THE POINT NOW WHERE THE WORLD IS IN SUCH A MESS AND SUCH ATROCITIES ARE TAKING PLACE THAT THE ONLY PLACE THAT MAKES ANY SENSE ANYMORE IS UNDER THE SHADOW OF THE ALMIGHTY. 

THAT'S WHERE MOSES TOLD THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL TO HIDE IN THE LAND OF GOSHEN WHEN THE PLAGUES WERE COMING ON EGYPT. 

THE LAND OF GOSHEN. IN THE LAND OF GOSHEN, ISRAEL WAS SAFE, UNTOUCHED BY PLAGUES, SICKNESS, POVERTY, HUNGER, OR DEATH. WHILE EGYPT WAS BEING TORTURED, GOD'S CHILDREN WERE MERELY SPECTATORS. THEY DID NOT PARTICIPATE IN THE JUDGMENT OF EGYPT.

IN THE LAST DAYS, THE ENEMIES OF GOD WILL BE AFFLICTED AND JUDGED. NOT US.

WHEN GOD TELLS US IN REVELATION THE THINGS THAT ARE ABOUT TO HAPPEN, HE'S NOT SAYING THAT IT'S HIS WILL OR THAT HE ARRANGED IT OR WANTED IT TO HAPPEN. NO.

GOD IS TELLING US THE FUTURE BECAUSE HE CAN SEE IT BECAUSE HE IS NOT BOUND BY TIME. HE IS OMNIPRESENT AND OMNISCIENT --AND OMNIPOTENT. HE IS EVERYWHERE, ALL-KNOWING, ALL-POWERFUL. 

JESUS WARNED US BECAUSE HE LOVES US. HE WANTS TO HAVE A RELATIONSHIP WITH US, JUST AS HE DESIRED TO HAVE A RELATIONSHIP WITH ADAM AND EVE, THEN WITH ABRAHAM, THEN ISAAC, AND ISRAEL. IT WAS ABOUT RELATIONSHIP AND LOVE AND MERCY.

WE HAVE A MERCIFUL, LOVING, GOOD, GOOD, GOD WHO LAID DOWN HIS SON'S LIFE SO THAT WE COULD HAVE RELATIONSHIP. THE GOSPEL OF SALVATION IS AN INVITATION TO RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD.

IF YOU HAVE THAT, YOU HAVE EVERYTHING YOU WILL EVER NEED IN THIS LIFE.

AMEN.

WHAT YOU CAN DO TO PREPARE FOR THE GREAT TRIBULATION

 

Let's take a look at some of the advice that Jesus gave to His disciples, to those who heard His voice at the time and to every Bible-reader throughout the last 2,000 years. To us --all of us who worship the Word.

Matthew 5

43 You have heard that it was said, 'You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy:

44 But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,

45 That you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. 

46 For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same?

47 And if you greet your brethren only, what do you do more than others? Do not even the tax collectors so?

48 Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect."

This is a radical piece of advice. Or is it a command? Personally, I take all of the suggestions from Jesus as concrete directives. He said,

"LOVE YOUR ENEMIES."

Any questions? 

Yes, there are questions. Let's face it. We want to know WHO is our enemy? And HOW do we love them. Am I right? And besides, "What's that got to do with preparing for the Great Tribulation?"

I will try to answer these two questions and if you have more, please put them in the comments.

As a Spirit-filled, born-again, Bible-believing Christian (I make the distinction because some people think they are Christians because they go to church.) you probably feel that you really don't have many enemies. You may have had discussions with others who don't necessarily believe the same way you do but you certainly don't consider those people your enemies. That's because, as Christians, we don't believe in creating contention with others and our main approach is to avoid friction, arguments, doctrinal disputes, or controversy. 

We believe our enemy is Satan and "we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against spiritual wickedness" and that's all true, of course. So,

WHO IS OUR ENEMY? 

Jesus made it clear when He said in Mark 9:40 "He who is not against us is on our side."

What He didn't say was "He who is not against ME is on MY side." 

To me that simply means that whoever is against Jesus is not on our side. Right? 

Our enemies do not always manifest themselves physically in a physical attack but if they did take out your eye, Jesus said you should not resist them but turn your cheek so they can smite you on the other side. (Let's hope they don't take out both your eyes.)

Further, Jesus added that not resisting evil was only the first requirement. We are to LOVE our enemies. And He gives us practical steps to take in order to do that. He says,

"40 And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloke also, 41 And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain, 42 Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away."

The thing about being a follower or disciple of Christ is that it's an active, act-it-out, action-based way of life. Yes, it's a way of life and it doesn't stop for a few days and then you get back into it much later sort of thing. It's giving your ear to the Lord and allowing Him to live through you, act through you, help people through you. And since God doesn't just let it rain on the just but He lets the rain fall on the unjust and the wicked, we followers are expected to do the same. We're meant to help people and be an example of the Kingdom of God on Earth. 

You may find out who your enemies are and you may not. And some of those who were vicious enemies may suddenly become your best friend because they were impressed with your example of unconditional love and decided to try out your God.

That explains the wisdom of Jesus in saying we must love our enemies. What better way to defeat the enemy than to make him an ally? Make him a beloved brother in the Lord. That's how to defeat the enemy. Imagine how it annoys Satan when we rescue his prisoners and win them over to our side?

We should probably remind ourselves that Jesus died for all of mankind. EVERY SINGLE ONE. Even the ugliest ones, the most addicted, the thieves, murderers, rapists and even the child molesters. Jesus took deep, bloody, gouges into His skin to PAY for ALL THE SINS OF HUMANITY FROM THE BEGINNING OF LIFE ON EARTH. 

It's the Blood of Jesus that's going to get us through the Great Tribulation. It's the testimony of our relationship with God that's going to bring us out of the worst tribulation this world has ever known. And it's our relationship with Jesus that will protect us, guide us, provide for us and lead us to our destiny.

What more do we need?

How to prepare? It's very simple. TALK TO JESUS. He's the Answer Man. 

You can hear His voice loud and clear when you read the Gospels. They contain very clear advice, advice like "Sell all that you have and give the money to the poor." 

"Lay up for yourselves treasures in Heaven where moth and rust do not destroy."

Matthew 6:19 "Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: 20 But lay up for  yourselves treasures in heaven where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do  not break through nor steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also."

WARNING: Continue reading only if you haven't been offended so far (or at least you haven't been totally insulted) and only if you are willing to accept the possibility that there is NO PRE-TRIBULATION RAPTURE.

(I mean, isn't pre-tribulation rapture an oxymoron? Because IF we are raptured PRE-trib, that would mean there's NO trib. Wouldn't it? Because, who would be getting tribulated?)

This is another note: I want to make it very, very clear that the Wrath of God (which is NOT called the Great Tribulation) is NOT going to happen to born-again, Spirit-filled believers in Jesus Christ! 

If you read Revelation, you'll see that following a GREAT EARTHQUAKE is the RAPTURE AND THEN THE WRATH. It doesn't say how long AFTER the rapture it will be until the Wrath is poured out but here are the verses I'm referring to FYI.

Revelation 6:12 - 17

"12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; 

13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casts her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. 

14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. 

15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; 

16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of Him that sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb; 

17 For the great day of His wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?"

"Who shall be able to stand?" Not us. We won't need to stand because WE WON'T BE HERE.

The earthquake is going to be a really big deal and it will KICK OFF THE RAPTURE. In other words:

EARTHQUAKE  =  RAPTURE

When we feel the ground from beneath our feet crumbling and breaking up, that's when our feet will no longer touch the ground. Then LOOK UP for your redemption is drawing near. The angels are coming to get us! 

I Thessalonians 4:16 says "For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 

17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 

18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words."

Does that comfort you? Does it comfort you to know that ALL of the terrible stuff Revelation talks about is concerning the WRATH OF GOD. NOT the Great Tribulation. 

The people who will have the Wrath of God poured out on them are the very worst enemies of Israel. ALSO 

"If any man worship the beast and his image and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the WRATH OF GOD, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of His indignation;..."

I have some more good news for you! Guess what! GOD has prepared a place for a special woman (who most likely is the church). You can decide who you think it is.

Revelation 12:6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.

You can read that whole chapter to see who that woman is. 

The very specific amount of time referred here (1,260 days) is the same amount of time presented in Daniel and in Revelation for the Great Tribulation which is 3 1/2 years. 

We don't know where the "wilderness" is but it is a place prepared of God where she will apparently be nourished and kept alive while the Tribulation is going on. 

However, Jesus warned us in Matthew 24 that there will be sorrows. 

9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for My name's sake." 

10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. 

12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. 

13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved."

Jesus gave us the very best advice of all time when He said in Matthew 22:37 - 40

"Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 

38 This is the first and great commandment. 

39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 

40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets."

Love God and love your fellow humans. That's it. That what you can do to prepare for the Great Tribulation.

I'm not being simplistic or sarcastic. This is me doing my best to suggest how we believers can not only GET THROUGH the coming days, but to SHINE. 

We can REMAIN under the shadow of God's wings in the Holy Place and we can reach out from there to the sheep that are scattered abroad: set them free, love on them, provide some of their needs, listen to their heart cries, and share the good news.

GRACE. That's what's going to get us through and onward and UPWARD.

FOR THE LOVE OF JERUSALEM

 Holy worship of the Messiah was a sweet, sweet sound in His ears as newly converted believers raised their voices in praise to King Jesus. Such rejoicing and awesome adoration is reminiscent of the day two thousand or so years ago when Yeshua Hamashiach entered through the gates of the city into Jerusalem, riding on an ass. His adoring followers celebrated His entry by waving palm branches in welcome and laying their clothes on the ground as a carpet for Him. 

However, the recent outpouring of the Holy Spirit on Jerusalem has caused her enemies to focus even more intently on the destruction and total annihilation of Israel. The Light shone in the darkness and the darkness comprehended it not. The darkness raged in jealousy and rebellion against the God of Israel, the God of Isaac, Jacob and the God of Christendom. 

Atrocities committed against innocent babes, women, children and the elderly sent shockwaves throughout Israel and the world. How could human beings behave this way? In fact, these terrorists behaved more like animals than human beings. Or, maybe that's an insult to animals. 

But this was not an impulsive attack nor crimes of passion. No indeed. These deeds were planned out in detail. A booklet was found on one of the perpetrators that outlined the methodology of such torture tactics. Can you imagine? This is a deeply entrenched hatred that underlies a desire to completely rid the world of all Jews. It's a planned genocide against Israel. 

Now, some might say (even some Christians) that God is using the hand of Hamas to punish Israel for their backslidings and worship of false gods. They might look back into Jewish history and note that in the past, Israel not only burned incense to false gods, but they offered up their own babies to be burned as sacrifices on the alter of Balam aka Balak. Of course, God was very angry and upset about this to the point that He allowed Israel's enemies to attack Jerusalem, destroy God's temple and take most of the Jews captive. 

The main point to note is that God "allowed" it. In other words, He removed His protection from His people and their enemies did the rest. That doesn't mean that God wanted it to happen. Neither did God want the Jews to offer their babies as burnt offerings. But that happened. 

What I'm saying is that we cannot and must not blame God for bad things that happen. WE KNOW WHO TO BLAME. So put blame where blame belongs: to Satan and all his demons of hell. They like to bring hell on earth. We can see that Satan exists BY HIS FRUIT. We can see his demons exist IN SOME PEOPLE. But that doesn't mean it's God's will.

GOD IS NOT WILLING THAT ANY SHOULD PERISH. Not even the people who have dedicated themselves to terrorize innocent people. 

2 Peter 3:9: "The Lord is not slack concerning His promise as some men count slackness; but is long-suffering to usward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."

Repentance is not a difficult thing. It only requires that one turn away from their evil actions and turn toward God, ask for His forgiveness and also ask for God's help to do what is right. Jesus is ready and willing to forgive and even totally forget ALL OF OUR SINS. Just like that! It's a miracle. Once we turn to Christ and receive Him as our Messiah, it is FINISHED. IT'S DONE. We are completely forgiven forever by faith. That's how easy salvation is. And, ANYONE can be saved. Take a look at that previous scripture. It says God is "not willing that any should perish". That means even YOU. Even members of Hamas. Even all of Israel.

Jesus loves Israel as a nation. He loved the temple in Jerusalem. He knew that the Spirit of God His Father had once filled the temple. It grieved Him that the Pharisees were misrepresenting His Father and making merchandise of men's souls. So, He braided a whip and threw the merchants out of the temple, overturning their tables and dumping their money out on the floor. Of course, they had to kill Him after that.

Jerusalem has a long, long history. Ever since Moses led the children of Israel out of Egypt, they have longed for the "Land of Milk and Honey" that God promised them. And that land did not come to them easily. They had to fight battle after battle to defeat their enemies and possess the land one inch at a time. On some occasions, they were forced to fight because their enemies would not allow them to pass peacefully through their land. At other times, God gave direct orders and Israel walked into the land by faith. When God sent them into Jericho to take it, the angels of God went with them and pushed down the walls, terrorizing the inhabitants (many of whom were giants!) so that they fled. So, you see, these were not ordinary battles born out of greed and lust like most wars. When God sent Israel into battle, it was to defeat spiritual strongholds over the land and deliver the territory back into God's hands.

Then we see that Israel turned her back on God and went "awhoring after other gods" which really broke God's heart. After all He had done for them. So sad. They began to worship the things they made with their own hands. Idol worship. Human sacrifices. What a bad example to the world.

They showed God that they could not obey Him. They could not obey even the first commandment God gave them to keep them out of harm's way. It was not a difficult request. God asked them to worship Him and Him only. What was so difficult about that? But, they couldn't do it. Why not?

Because they (just like us) were living in a FALLEN WORLD where the FALLEN ANGEL had taken over as much as he could get away with. The rebel Satan was constantly trying to thwart every step Israel took to obey and worship her God. And, it seems like he succeeded quite often in deceiving them. 

However, knowing their weaknesses all too well, God provided a solution. He provided a Lamb that was sacrificed once and for all for all of humankind throughout history so that no matter how far they had fallen, there was a way out. That was called SALVATION. No more punishment for sin, no more judgement, no more Hell. Salvation is a GIFT OF GOD.

Today all of humanity is blessed with the sacrifice that Yeshua Hamashiach made when He died on the cross of Calvary. We have the Jews to thank for that. THANK YOU FOR NOT BEING PERFECT. If the Jews had not been wayward and sinful, maybe God would have chosen ONLY that nation to be saved. If they had had the faith of their father Abraham, perhaps God would have hemmed them in as a people and destroyed all their heathen enemies round about them so that only Israel would be saved. But, thank God, the Jews were SINNERS JUST LIKE EVERYONE ELSE. So, God had to come down here on earth in the form of a man and put HIMSELF on the alter of sacrifice in JERUSALEM for ALL OF  US.

We say HALLELUJAH! HOLY IS THE LAMB! Amen?

What a God! What a good God He is. 

So, you may ask, "Why is Hamas being allowed to torture Jews now, burn their babies alive, cut off their heads, and take children hostage? ETC."

And, not only that, but why are the Palestinians shouting their lies so loudly that the entire world can't help but have their ears filled with the lies? Why is Israel being maligned, tortured, misrepresented, lied about, and falsely accused before the entire world? Haven't they suffered enough down throughout history being chased out of country after country? 

Let's pull back the curtain and take a look at what's going on right now in the spiritual realm. Let's take a look in the Word of God. (King James Version).

Revelation Chapter 12:

1 And there appeared a great wonder in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:

2 And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.

3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.

4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.

5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to His throne.

These scriptures are pretty much self-explanatory and it's not hard to see that the woman is Israel. Her baby is Jesus who came of the seed of Judas, the son of Israel. The great red dragon is some version of the devil or Satan, the fallen angel who used to be God's Right Hand Man, believe it or not... But, he, in trying to devour Jesus, caused Him to be miraculously resurrected. I guess the devil didn't know WHO he was up against. 

And yet, he's dumb enough to keep trying to destroy Jesus by attacking His children and by attacking even the unregenerated children of Israel. (Now, I say that in love because if any person does NOT receive Jesus Christ as their Messiah, well, the Bible says they are going to hell. That is what the Bible says, folks.) Here's some scriptures on it:

John 3:

17 For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.

18 He that believeth on Him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

So, as we know, God gave us choice. We get to choose. Of all the decisions we make throughout our lives, this one is the most important, don't you think? You can choose to serve God or you can choose to serve the devil. He's a hard taskmaster. But, if you choose to serve him, you get all the benefits of serving him. Namely Hell, misery, darkness, and death. If you serve sin and self, you reap the whirlwind. Satan is the master of destruction, violence, torture, and murder. 

On a lighter note, if you decide to serve Jesus Christ, the wonderful Creator, Lamb of God, Messiah, Good Shepherd, and King of Love, you will reap the benefits. There are so many benefits, you'll just have to read the Bible to discover them all! Here's one:

John 14:

2 In My Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto Myself, that where I am, there ye may be also.

SWEET. If Jesus is preparing a place for you, it's going to be the most amazing place you've ever seen because He knows what you love. In fact, He knows you better than you know yourself because He created you. So, if as He says, He is preparing a place for you, be prepared to be dazzled. 

Here's a little caveat on Jerusalem. Back in the days of King Saul and King David, God instructed Israel to destroy all their enemies even down to their cattle. He also told them not to intermarry with other races. However, Israel did not obey. They intermarried with other races that were idol worshippers and they had "mercy" on some of their enemies such as the Philistines who are known today as the Palestinians. (It's in the Bible, I'm not making this up.) 

I know one thing that if I haven't learned anything else in my life, I have learned this: It's a whole lot easier to obey God than to disobey Him. There's no need to try to figure out "why" or reason out things with God. When He tells you to do something, you'll be a whole lot better off in the end and a whole lot happier if you just OBEY. 

RELIGION VS RELATIONSHIP

 If you're a person who loves Jesus and regularly reads the Bible, you may have been told that you are "religious". For most people, it may feel like a compliment. However, when used in certain contexts, the word "religious" can have a very negative connotation. That's why I don't like to have that label put on me. 

To me, religion is something that zealots practice. I think of the scribes and Pharisees of Jesus's day. They were anything but the example of humility and faith that God desired of His people. In fact, they were the direct opposite. Jesus told them that they were of their father, THE DEVIL. And that's what I think of when I hear the word "religious". I think of legalism. I think of condemnation, judgement, and the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, an innocent Man who died because of religiosity of the worst kind. 

What is religion? 

I would say it is a form of godliness but denying the power. It's like dry cracker dust. It's dead men's bones inside of whited sepulchers. It's the opposite of love and compassion. Maybe we could call it narcissism. Narcissism is a personality disorder. Something against nature, or against natural order. A disorder. Not only does narcissism hurt everyone who comes into contact with the narcissist but it hurts the narcissist. 

Briefly, a narcissist has little or no empathy (the opposite of Jesus's example) and is motivated to take control over everyone and everything in their environment either by manipulation, force, violence, or dominance. The outcome is deception, more violence, confusion, fear, and destruction. That's just putting it in a nutshell. And that's exactly what the scribes and Pharisees were up to. So, what did Jesus tell them?

"WOE." That's what He said. I guess He just couldn't do the subject justice, so He rolled it all into one word. "Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees." Then he told them what they were guilty of. The list is LONG and you can read it in Matthew chapter 23. Here's a sampling:

Matthew 23:3 - 7, "3 All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not. 4 For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers. 5 But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments, 6 And love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues, 7 And greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi."

That's a snap-shot of religion. That's what I picture when someone calls me "religious". It creates a vomiting urge in my throat and I feel insulted to the lowest degree of what Christianity is supposed to stand for. 

Why? Because in the same breath that a person might say that to me, I know that they're thinking and quite often will say in the very next breath that "religion is the cause of most of the world's wars down throughout history", which, by the way, is simply not true. Most wars have been caused by greed. Be that as it may; if religion has caused wars, I don't want to be associated with any of their wars. I do not believe in any particular organized religion --chief of which is the Roman Catholic Church. 

I could be wrong but I do believe that the two main religions on this planet today are: Islam and Catholicism. Ironically, the Pope has been very busy uniting the two into one "religion" called Chrislam.

With the adoption this week by the 7th World Religions Congress of the Human Fraternity document created by Pope Francis and Mohamed bin Zayed, Chrislam is now the official One World Religion.

It’s official, Chrislam has now been codified and ratified, with the approval at the 7th Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, of the Human Fraternity document created by Pope Francis of the Vatican, and financed and promoted by Mohamed bin Zayed of the UAE. Question – Guess who they forgot to invite to the festivities? Answer – Jesus Christ, His Name appears nowhere and is never mentioned. 

It seems, however, that the word "religion" continues to be applied to people such as myself who believe strongly in Jesus Christ, salvation by faith alone, and in the Triune God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. If one were to apply the word "religion" to someone like myself, it would be a religion of FAITH. 

"For by grace are we saved through FAITH and that NOT OF OURSELVES, it is a GIFT of God, NOT of works, lest any man/woman should boast." 

We are NOT saved by our deeds. Sorry but our deeds will never be good enough to bring about our salvation. Neither are we saved by taking "Holy Mass" which is quite unholy. Yes, Mass in unholy, unscriptural, unnecessary for salvation, and meant only to glorify the priests and hierarchy of the Catholic Church. The Catholic Mass is nothing like what Jesus celebrated with His disciples the night of His arrest. 

What do you think Jesus would say if He entered a Catholic Church during Mass? Here's what I believe He would say:

"But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in. 14 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation. 15 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves."

Read it and weep if you have any of these traits, or if you happen to be a devout Catholic. If so, repent. Turn your back on hypocracy and empty religion and turn your eyes upon Jesus Christ, the Messiah and be washed in the Blood of the Lamb! 

To REPENT means to turn away from the false gods and false doctrines and to make a complete 180 toward the TRUTH. Only then will your eyes be opened to the glory of God and all the blessings He has in store for you. Don't be deceived by religiosity, self-righteousness, and MAN-MADE RELIGION which seeks to destroy your soul and SEND YOU TO HELL.

Jesus Christ has been vastly misrepresented by the religious system and religion of this day just as He was misrepresented by the religious system of His day. 

Read the Word of God for yourself and ask God Himself to show you Himself IN HIS WORD. Allow His Word to come alive in you so that you no longer need to depend on man/woman or man's religion or anyone but God. And these three are One: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is God's Representative ON THE EARTH Who is ever and always with you once you receive Jesus as your Saviour. He will answer your questions, direct you, protect you, and lead you one step at a time all the way to Heaven. 

Remember: "THE MAJORITY IS ALWAYS WRONG." Jesus said in Matthew 7:13 & 14, "Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it."

If you find the gate and the narrow way which leads to LIFE, you are in the MINORITY. And you are safe from the broad way that leads to DESTRUCTION. BE OF THE FEW. GIVE YOUR LIFE TO CHRIST. If you haven't already done so, you will be very glad that you did. You will have made the correct decision --possibly for the first time in your life. Ask me how I know!

Trump's Indictment and Arraignment During Easter

 Yesterday was Palm Sunday. Today former president Donald Trump made the journey from his home in Palm Beach to the city of New York where he will be arraigned on Tuesday.

Is this timing a coincidence? He is the first former president of the United States to be brought up on charges. This is not only an historical moment, it is a sad moment, what I would call a "doomsday" moment for the USA. 

Not only is it illegal to bring a former president up on charges and not only has this never been done before, but they did it during the most important and holy time of the year for a Christian. Those of the faith celebrated Palm Sunday yesterday, the day on which Jesus Christ our Lord and Messiah rode into Jerusalem, through the city gates riding on the colt of a donkey. That's right, Jesus rode on a lowly donkey's colt entering through the gates of Jerusalem and was haled by crowds of excited and awed followers who waved palm branches in a symbol of glorification, also laying down branches and clothes along his route for Him to pass over. 

The evening following the Passover celebration, Jesus was arrested in the Garden of Gethsemane after being betrayed by his infamous disciple, Judas Iscariot. Jesus was betrayed with a kiss, arrested on no charges, illegally tortured by a beating that tore the flesh off his body and then returned to Pilot to be crucified.

Pilot did NOT want to crucify Jesus. In fact, he was dead set against it since his wife warned him that she had had a warning dream about this man. So, Pilot, desperate to save Jesus, offered to let Him go. He wanted to release him as was the custom during the feast days. But, no, the Jews refused to accept their King. Instead they wanted the murderer and insurrectionist, Barabbas.   

In New York City, Prosecutor Bragg is bringing Trump up on trumped up charges while allowing several murderers go free. He upped a misdemeanor to a felony by boot-strapping two or three or four charges together. As of yet, we haven't heard the charges. But, we're pretty sure Stormy Daniels has something to do with it. She was paid off by one of Trump's employees to keep her mouth shut which she did not. What a waste of money that was. What a fitting name. She was part of what the Democrats hope to be the perfect storm to bring down the most popular candidate for the next presidential election. 

As most of us agree, Trump won the last election by a landslide. It wasn't even feasible that Biden managed to garner so many votes while campaigning from his basement. According to the fake election, Texas miraculously changed their entire state to blue to give him a majority. And, we know that would never happen in a month of Sundays. Yes, the election was rigged and the Demoncrats got away with it.

Biden was never "our president" as far as the Republicans were concerned. It was a crying shame to see that display of immorality in a so-called Christian democracy. But it happened. It was similar to how elections are run in Canada. Just barbaric. 

We celebrated the historical entry of Jesus Christ into Jerusalem yesterday. Today we sadly witness the entry of Donald Trump into New York City. We can only pray that the hyped up charges against him will be dismissed. We can pray that even if the Left tries to crucify him on Good Friday, he will somehow, by a miracle of God, rise again. 

The Left rejoices gleefully that they "finally got him". They can't wait to see Orange Man Bad in orange behind bars. What they hope to accomplish, who knows? Will they have succeeded in turning the once most powerful and revered country in the world into a Banana Republic? 

I believe you can't keep a good man down. He'll bounce back up even higher and stronger under persecution. Persecution only serves to prove what material the persecuted is made of. "All who will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution." That's what the Bible says.

If they get Trump, who's next? The Jews? The Christians? The Bidens? The Pelosis? 

"Off with their heads!" How far will the Dems go? That's difficult to judge because just take a look at how far they have already gone. And who do you think the real Judas is?

I can give you a hint. His name begins with "S" and he should be a man of many sorrows and will have a lot to answer for when this life is over unless he repents and that right quick.

Dear Mr. Trump, we want to thank you for your service to you country. Why oh why you want to rescue the American people is beyond comprehension. Why are you willing to lay down your life for them? You must see some good in them. Let's just hope they appreciate it.

You can judge a man's character by his enemies. So true!

Melania, we are also praying for you and your son and for the entire Trump family during this time of sifting. Prayers change things and it's a far greater power than any power your enemies have. I know that to be true. It's time for another miracle, Jesus! Onward and upward! 

LIES OF SATAN

 IF YOU WANT TO REFUTE THE LIES OF THE DEVIL, IT HELPS TO KNOW WHAT THEY ARE. I MAY NOT BE ABLE TO TELL YOU ALL OF THEM, BUT THERE'S ONE PARTICULAR LIE THAT I GET HIT WITH CONSTANTLY. MAYBE YOU DO, TOO. SO I'M STARTING OFF WITH THE LIE I HEAR MOST. IT MAY NOT BE THE BIGGEST POWER WEAPON OF SATAN BUT IT IS VERY, VERY ANNOYING AND INSIDIOUS. WANNA KNOW WHAT IT IS? HERE'S THAT INFORMATION FOR YOU FOR FREE:

He screams this in my ear all the "time". Why? Because he wants me to waste time on time-wasters. He can come up with so many of them, too. He hates me spending time on Jesus! 

SOLUTION: Spend more time with Jesus!

Here's a Fun Fact: I am a retired senior. My time is MINE. I have raised my kids, paid my taxes, taught thousands of students, cooked and cleaned for others, studied and written several books and preached the Gospel. MY TIME BELONGS TO ME NOW. NOBODY HAS A RIGHT TO ACCUSE ME OF WASTING TIME.

--So, if it bothers Satan or my family or my friends that I "don't get out enough" or I "waste time", OH WELL! TOUGH BEANS.

3. Getting people to torture children.

4. Misrepresenting Christ.

NARCISSISM

Narcissism could be considered a coping mechanism, or an arrangement of coping mechanisms within a personality. And, now more than ever, people need coping mechanisms --though, we should realize that there’s a better way to cope than by endeavoring to take full control of all the people in our lives.  

In today's world, the stress alone has to be coped with somehow. We have all of us at one time or another (or many times or others) leaned to our own human, low-level tactics in order to cope. We know it’s wrong, we know it’s not fair, but from time to time, we fall short of our best behavior. Therefore, aren’t we all a little narcissistic?  

A little narcissism is a little tolerable. It’s when a person has no fail-safes, no conscience to check themselves in their indiscriminately autonomous behavior that we find ourselves dealing with full-blown narcissism.  

Although we should look under our own hood first, we also have to realize that to solve our deepest problems, we can’t lean to our own understanding. We need help! We need to look up!  Often we want to take things into our own hands to solve problems in our own way so that nobody else need be involved or take a cut. Sometimes the last thing in the world we want is somebody else’s “stupid” opinion.    

But isn’t being human about working together, cooperating, and compromising with other people –family members, sports team players, romantic partners, and governors? Are not leaders elected to make their constituents’ lives easier, not more difficult by putting themselves and their wants and needs ahead of everyone else’s? Some narcissistic leaders take a lot for granted in thinking that they’ll be able to get away with constantly cheating their voters out of their rights and taxing them into the poor house.   

We have recently seen the performance of a certain national leader on the world stage, enacting a perfect definition of narcissism –evading questions, disregarding and disrespecting others, putting himself above everyone, continuing on his own path despite what anyone else thinks, not caring for anyone's opinions, not finding it necessary to cooperate or to listen, having no empathy whatsoever for the hardships of others, particularly the hardships that he inflicts on others for his own agenda and convenience.  

These are all the tendencies of a fascist dictator. Someone with a healthy personality will see this type of calloused narcissist for the weak, sickly, impoverished, socially inept character that he is. Others less intuitive will fall prey to his deceptions.  

It's at times like this that we need to remind ourselves that the meek shall inherit the earth. Particularly at this time in history, it seems that the earth which the meek shall be inheriting is overrun with narcissists. It’s been estimated that 15% of the world's population are narcissists. 

However, that depends on the location of the population. Any given group of CEOs would probably score higher than 70% on the instances of narcissism, as would Hollywood movie stars, professors, high ranking officers, etc. The military runs on narcissism. (You can quote me on that.) You could say it fosters and encourages this personality disorder. 

With all of its exploding exploitive expansion, however, narcissism is not a disease or a virus. It doesn’t spread from person to person and it’s not necessarily contagious. Narcissism is a widespread personality disorder. 

These days it's easy to discover a plethora of information on personality disorders. You can find out if you've got one! You can find out if your parents had them. They probably did. Most of us have some sort of disorder. 

Sometimes it's necessary to have someone point out your weaknesses, like a red flag pointing out the dangers of continuing in a certain direction, or the dangers of reinforcing those undesirable character traits that make life shallow and meaningless.  

And sometimes some of us must realize that the narcissists in our life will probably never change. Yet, at the same time, realize that they are suffering and missing out on the potential and joy that life has to offer people who lose themselves in it and give themselves, their time, their affection, their finances to other human beings and higher causes.
