I believe that the world is being deceived largely because of an epidemic of self-righteousness. We are being inundated by self-righteousness in sneaky, subtle ways like never before. And, we are being manipulated by it.
Make no mistake, brothers and sisters, self-righteousness is a sin. It is evil. Isaiah 64:6 says, "But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away."
What we don't want is to be blown away in the wind. We want our feet firmly planted on the ground.
Deception can blow us away. It's got a strong pull, especially when so, so, so many are following the same deceptions, lies and false gods. It's not a small thing to worship the wrong god. No, we don't all have the same God. There is only One God and One Mediator between God and man, the Lord Jesus Christ. He will prevent you from being deceived.
But, we need to humble ourselves under the mighty hand of God and remember that we have no righteousness of our own at all.
Put a nice white, spotlessly clean robe on a man and it does not change his heart. (I'm giving you a clue as to who fits that bill. Who am I thinking about? He walks around in a long white dress, being cheered like a rock star by millions who adhere to his pompous piety.)
Self-righteous people do not need God.
It's uncomfortable to confess your weaknesses and sins and mistakes even to yourself. It's uncomfortable to accept that we are not perfect. But, I find that, after dumping it all on the Lord (not a priest or anyone else who is of human flesh, but only to God) that I start to feel a sense of reality. And I also feel a sort of power by confessing my faults to the Lord. It's very therapeutic.
God's way up is down. Trying to be something I'm not will make me even more uncomfortable.
In this world today, there is talk about "unity" and "peace" and "kindness", even "love". It's almost like the hippy movement of the sixties come back to life. It's ridiculous. Man needs to know his limitations.
Without God we are nothing and can of our own selves do nothing. That is, nothing good anyway.
Man is delusional if he believes he can bring about world peace. Man/woman is incapable of love without the Holy Spirit of God's love. We are human. We are not God. We will never in this flesh attain to equality with God, our Creator.
This is really kindergarten stuff, but when I look around at what's going on in the world today, it blows my mind that we are all so deceived and duped by these leaders proclaiming that we are going to have a wonderful, perfect, safe and peaceful New World Order.
Has it ever happened before in the history of the world? Um... let me think, there was Nero, ok, no. There was Mao Tsi Tung, nope. There was Hitler, not. There was the Roman Empire-- not so much. Ok, so, then, what makes us think, in our La-La Land imaginations that Pope Francis and Obama are going to be able to pull it off. Because what? Because technology? Because everyone's so much smarter these days?
I don't think so.
The best of man's self-righteousness is war. That's what he's good at. (I'm omitting the ladies here, but some of them are involved to a lesser degree.)
WAR.
THAT is the HISTORY of our planet.
WAR is our legacy.
THAT is what the New World Order will bring about. BIG TIME.
I'm just saying.

New Converts
"I was a filthy, rotten sinner to the age of six, when Jesus set me free."
That was the testimony of a little boy who "finally" found Jesus.
Jesus said he did not come to the righteous. He was sent to the sinners. Only the sinners qualified to receive him, because only the sinners, that is, people who knew they were sinners, would listen!
If you don't know you're a sinner, if you think you have some righteousness of your own, some goodness that you alone have been privy to, then, my friend; you don't qualify.
The only way that salvation can "take", is if it saves you. If you don't need it, don't require it, don't absolutely desperately desire it with all of your heart, it won't affect you. It will roll off your back like water off a duck.
Maybe you don't need to be a filthy, rotten sinner. But you need to know that you are not perfect, you have hurt people, you have lied, you have probably stolen some little thing, you have been selfish and inconsiderate and you have been vain and proud. At least And those are sins.
What's to say that little sins are not equal to bigger sins? Who's to say that the crime of murder is the worst sin? Or homosexuality? Or child molestation?
Sin is sin. Wickedness is wickedness. If you break the law in one point, you break the whole law.
Only God can judge our sin and I don't really think God cares if it's big or little or what magnitude it has because little sins can cause just as much overall harm as the big ones. Right?
We would like to have "special punishment" for people like Hitler or OJ Simpson or Gadhafi, but, really, were those people any worse than me or you?
We are all sinners. Yes, even after salvation, we still continue to sin. Every day.
Yes, we have the advantage of having the Spirit of God in our soul to lead and guide us and, most of all forgive us. But, we will continue to sin every day, every moment of the day until Jesus comes back or until we pass away.
That's why Jesus gave us the Lord's Prayer. That's why David said, "Who can understand his errors? Cleanse me from secret faults. (So secret I don't know what they are.) Keep me back from the sin of pride." Psalm 19:12 & 13

Heaven
On the way home from shopping, I was walking through a laneway and happened upon a young man who was burning "money" in a burn bin. So, I stopped.
You know, I wasn't in the best of moods, having just stormed off from two taxi drivers who I thought were trying to cheat me. So, when I saw him doing the burning, I looked him in the eye and asked,
"Do you speak English?"
He shook his head and looked at me with a question on his face. I said, (pointing to my head and twirling my index finger) "Do you know how DUMB that is?"
He got the message, but of course, he kept right on doing what he was doing... burning "afterlife money" or whatever you call it. The Chinese have some strange idea that if they burn fake money down here, their dead relatives (wherever they went) in the spirit realm will get rich!
Now, to me that's a silly superstition. But, on the other hand, if I stop and think about it: maybe, just maybe it shows that those Chinese that do this are exercising a little bit of faith. Faith in "something" even though, to me it's ridiculous and I wanted to get that message to this kid, like a wake-up call.
I wasn't trying to be rude or insult him. I was trying to make him stand back and take a look at what he was doing.
At least it shows he believes in an "after-life". It shows that humans have an innate desire to believe in life after death, that there's something behind the veil. And, to that young man, burning "money" was helping someone out in that after life where he knows he will go some day. So, good for him. All he needs to do now is to accept Jesus Christ as his personal Saviour and he'll KNOW where he's going. He'll know that death has no sting. He'll know that he has a "free pass" into Heaven straight through those pearly gates. And that's not superstition.

NO SUCH THING AS INTER-FAITH
God is not the Devil. The Devil is not God. There's a big difference.
Coexist. It sounds like a nice thing to do. You'll hear words like "acceptance" and "tolerance" to describe what's going on at the UN these days and at the Vatican. And you just aren't cool if you don't accept people of other religions. After all, we all worship the same God, don't we?
Take a look again at those symbols: the crescent moon with the star is a symbol of Islam derived from symbolism for the Goddess Diana. (The Muslims of Islam believe that Jesus was only a prophet, not God's Son and that He didn't die on the cross. They believe Christians are "infidels" who should be beheaded by the sword!)
Secondly is the "Peace" symbol which is an upside-down cross with its arms broken. (This is what those who want to enter Satanism or Wicca or Witchcraft must do to the cross... turn it upside-down and break the arms to show that they do not believe in or respect Jesus. And, apparently, this brings them "peace".) Then there is the gender symbol. Then the Jewish star of David representing the Jewish religion which denies the existence of Jesus. (They are still waiting for the "true Messiah" to come.) Then, the witchcraft symbol of the goat inside a star. Then there's Yin and Yang which is seen in Taoism and Confucianism who believe there is no "good" or "evil" but only "good". LAST is the cross which symbolises the power of our God who died for us that we might live with Him forever! And that at the name of Jesus EVERY KNEE WILL BOW! Amen!
If we "coexist" in this way, we will have to deny our faith and "accept" other false religions that spit on the name of Jesus.
So, Christians (and I even dislike using that word because many call themselves Christians who aren't) are criticised for not being accepting and inclusive of other religions. We are accused of being "haters".
Well, if you ask me if I hate the Devil, my answer is a vehement affirmation. "YES!" I HATE THE DEVIL. He is the Deceiver and the Destroyer and I hate him. However, I do not hate those who are his captives.
I hate the Deceiver, not the deceived. I hate the prison, not the prisoner. We hate evil. We, as believers are meant to hate evil. We are not called to tolerate it, compromise with it or ignore it.
When the word "faith" is used in "Inter-faith", it's not referring to faith at all. What adherents to other religions (other than the true religion which is not a "religion" but a "relationship" with God) have is not faith. They usually only have superstition. And if one asks them what exactly they believe in, most have never really found out what they believe in or why they believe in it. And, sorry to say, there are many, many so-called Christians who are in the same boat.
John 6:29 says: "Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent." and 47 says: "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me has everlasting life."
Do we know Who we believe? Do we have a deeply-rooted understanding of Who and what we believe and why we believe it? It is our duty or our "work" to believe on Jesus. I think it's a matter of believing in Him more and more every day. Faith grows by watering it with the Word of God. What a wonderful life! Faith also grows by interacting with God. They call that praying.
It's time to choose sides.
"If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything."
THEY CAN'T ALL BE GOD. Even a child can tell you that God is God and the Devil is the Devil.
What's the difference? The Devil has no power at all except in fear and deceit. He is the Father of Lies. I think it was Hitler that said, "If you tell a big enough lie, everyone will believe it." And, of course, the best kind of lie is the one that's closest to the truth.
Jesus is the Truth: "I am the way, the truth and the life. No man cometh unto the Father but by Me." (John 14:6)
It's a sugar-coated lie that we should all be in "unity" and "tolerance" and "acceptance" to the point of compromising our faith in Christ, the True God. What are your thoughts? I welcome comments.
The reason why disciples of Christ have faith is because they have been born again. Being born again is the experience that happens as a result of accepting Jesus into our hearts and lives and allowing Him to rebirth our spirits. When that happens, we allow the Holy Spirit to live in the temple of our body. Without this rebirth, one cannot see the kingdom of God.
John 3:3
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
We are saved by grace. This rebirth and spiritual salvation is a GIFT of God. It's pro bono. It cannot be paid for. It is an insult to God if we even think we can repay Jesus for this GIFT. (Ephesians 2:8 & 9)
That's why, the rebuilding of the third temple in Jerusalem is an insult to God. It's like spitting in God's eye and rejecting the gift of salvation by grace. God hates "work trips" or self-righteousness, people trying to be godly without God.
I'm not saying that, as believers in Christ, we should hate anyone. No. In fact, we are specifically told to love our enemies as well as our brothers and sisters in the Lord. But, we are warned not to fellowship with the "unfruitful works of darkness".
Which one do YOU choose? ALL? OR NONE? I choose NONE.

DON'T BE DECEIVED
Deception is the name of the game these days, folks. They're all trying to deceive us. That's because we live on the devil's territory and the devil is the "father of lies".
So, if something sounds a bit funny to you, maybe it's because it's a lie. If it sounds too good to be true, maybe that's because it is.
For example, when has there ever been world peace?
Like... never. So, now, after six thousand years of world history, some super hero is going to bring about world peace? I don't think so. We are being duped. Or, at least some of us are.
"Let's unite all the religions. Isn't it wonderful that we're all in unity?"
Come on.
The very fact that the pope wants to unite all the world's religions is pretty clear and shocking evidence that he is a false prophet, if not the false prophet of the end time prophesied in Revelation 13.
Verse 11 says: "And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon."
This is the guy who "causes the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast..." Rev. 13:12 (The "first beast" is the king of the world or the Antichrist.)
Now, this false prophet (or second beast) is a very powerful guy and we should watch out for him just as much as the OWL (One World Leader) or Antichrist or Beast.
He may have the horns of a seemingly harmless lamb, but this guy is dangerous in his deceit!
Revelation 13:12 - And he exercises all the power of the first beast before him, and causes the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.
WARING: DO NOT WORSHIP EITHER OF THESE GUYS. THAT INCLUDES POPE FRANCIS. Don't get sucked in by his encyclicals of "kindness" and "brotherly love".
13 And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, (right in front of the cameras!)
14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.
(So, there's going to be a guy who gets wounded to death with a sword but he comes back to life. This is the one to watch out for! He is the One World Leader or New World Order Ruler or Antichrist or Beast #1.)
15 And he (the False Prophet) had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
(That's the kind of power this false prophet will have! I'm going out on a limb here by saying I believe in my heart of hearts that Pope Francis could very easily be such a man. He may be the False Prophet. He has many of the ear marks.)
16 And he causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
Here is a cross-reference to show you that the beast is also the "false prophet".
Revelation 19:20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
Ouch.
Now, I feel really sorry for all you Catholics out there who are so het up on Pope Francis, the "Miracle Pope" and all that. But, I have to warn you. "If the Truth kills, let it kill."
Jesus said, "Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them."
The pope is definitely coming in the name of Jesus. Maybe he will also tell us that he IS the Christ. Let's watch and see.
Jesus said it again in Matthew 24:5 and in Mark 13:6 "For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ: and shall deceive many."
Like the loving and concerned Father that He is, Jesus warned us, not once but three times that many would come in His name.
He also said, "There shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
To avoid such a thing from happening to us, we need to stay close to Jesus and stay steeped in the Word of God every day. Hang onto His Word and claim the promises of God!
So, if something sounds a bit funny to you, maybe it's because it's a lie. If it sounds too good to be true, maybe that's because it is.

ARE YOU READY FOR THE TRIB?
What follows is the order of events prophesied in the Bible that will tell us exactly when the last 7 years have begun, when the Tribulation has begun and when the "Rapture" will happen! Are you ready?
1 Rise of a One World Leader
The Bible predicts or prophesies that a leader (or beast) will rise up in the latter days who will rule over the entire world.Although there have been a few wanna-be world dictators like Alexander the Great, Napoleon and Hitler, no one man has yet succeeded in controlling the entire planet. During Alexander the Great's era, the rest of the planet hadn't been discovered. During the reign of Napoleon, transportation hadn't been developed. During Hitler's would-be empire, technology hadn't advanced enough. But, it has now. And one man means to use it to rule the world.
Will he succeed? Well, according to Bible prophecy, not for very long. And, he's going to have one heck of a time trying to keep things under control even with all his power, technology and a false prophet who performs wildly amazing miracles.
(In order to have a one world leader, there must be a New World Order. This is the point we are at right now. The false prophet [possibly Pope Francis] is on the move with his NWO agenda. Keep an eye on the pope. A wary eye! I Thessalonians 5:3)
So, the question is: "WHO IS THE OWL of the NWO?" WHO? WHO? WHOOOOOOO?
Whoever he is, he will "come in peaceably and obtain the world by flatteries" (Dan. 11:21) He is pushing a covenant. (Dan. 11:22b) He will work deceitfully and become strong with a "small people". (Dan. 11:23) He will share his wealth! Nice fellow. Not. (Dan. 11:24) He will also speak lies with the king of the South. But, what politician hasn't spoken lies? Nothing new. (Israel has sometimes been referred to as the country of the South.)
2 Confirming of the Covenant
According to Daniel 9:27, the Beast or OWL or Antichrist or World Dictator or Prince of the Covenant will confirm a 7 Year Peace Agreement or Holy Covenant with "many". (One week is 7 years, according to other prophecies.)Exactly what kind of covenant this will be is hinted at. It is called "holy" and when the Beast breaks it, the "daily sacrifice" is taken away. So, it all sounds Jewish to me and it sounds like the covenant has a lot to do with Jerusalem and the permission to build their temple and start sacrificing their red bulls and such.
It's important to note here that that SEVEN YEAR COVENANT will activate GOD'S TIME LINE OF THE LAST SEVEN YEARS.
That will bring us to the END OF THE AGE or THE END OF LIFE AS WE KNOW IT. The earth isn't going to disappear, no. But THINGS ARE GONNA CHANGE!
3 Mark of the Beast
This is where the other "beast" (Rev. 13:11) or "false prophet" gets involved. He gets the bright idea that "they should make an image to the Beast" (Rev. 13:14) and he starts "causing all to receive a mark" without which NO MAN MIGHT BUY OR SELL!Revelation 13:16 & 17 "And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name."
And, of course, as we all know, the number of the beast is 666.
4 Jerusalem Surrounded with Armies
Jesus warned us that when we would see Jerusalem surrounded with armies, the Great Tribulation or Desolation would be near.Luke 21:20: "And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh."
5 Building of the 3rd Temple
It makes sense that, in order for the Beast to place the Abomination of Desolation in the "Holy Place", there will need to be a "Holy Place", which can only be in the Jewish temple and in Jerusalem. (End time Bible prophecy centers around Jerusalem, although God makes it clear that it is no longer a truly holy city when He refers to it as "the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified." Rev. 11:8)
Nevertheless, Israel will rebuild their temple as planned and in so-doing, fulfil prophecy. But, she will be destroyed by her brother, Esau. (Obadiah chapter 1.)
6 Breaking of the Holy Covenant
The Beast or Antichrist or the King or New World Order Leader (maybe they'll come up with a new name for the "King of the World" ha!) will decide that the covenant really wasn't such a good idea. Maybe people are taking it too literally for his liking and he needs more control? I don't know. But, after putting up with it for three and a half years, he decides it's time to get rid of it.
Daniel 9:27b
"...and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease..."
Two things seem to happen simultaneously: the breaking of the covenant and the placing of the Abomination of Desolation.
Daniel 11:31 "And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate."
7 Placing of the Abomination of Desolation
Jesus Himself seemed very serious in his warnings of this action of placing the Abomination of Desolation. It's like, "Not to put you into a panic or anything, BUT... get out! Run for your life! Don't look back!"Matthew 24:15: "When ye...see the abomination of desolation... stand in the holy place,... 16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains. 17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: 18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes."
8 The Great Tribulation
The Great Tribulation or Time of Desolation will begin halfway through the last 7 years and will last for approximately 3 1/2 years, although we are told that "those days shall be shortened". Maybe God's going to knock a couple of months off of it because in Daniel 12:12, it says, "Blessed is he that waiteth and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days."
Here's one idea I had: Maybe it's going to take 2 months for God to pour out his wrath. The believers will get "raptured" or resurrected or gathered together from the four winds and then God will pour out his wrath. (Believers do not suffer God's wrath, Beloved! ITHES. 5:9)
Daniel 12:1 is encouraging: "And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book."
Is your name written in the book? It is if you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Saviour! If you have, you're in! You're covered! And Michael, a mighty Archangel is going to stand up for us! Yay!
9 The Rapture!
Earth's lights go out! The sun and the moon are dark! It looks as though all is lost. And, just as it seems that the sun has gone down on the world, LIGHTNING FLASHES OUT OF THE EAST AND SHINES UNTO THE WEST! TRUMPETS BLAST! JESUS APPEARS IN THE HEAVENS! AND WE SEE OUR KING COMING IN THE CLOUDS OF HEAVEN WITH POWER AND GREAT GLORY! YES! OUR HERO HAS ARRIVED!And He sends his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other!
Matthew 24:29 "Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory."
Note to all you pretrib rapture theorists: The key word to refute that theory is "after". I didn't write it! It's in the Bible. Jesus said it.
10 The Wrath of God
Once God's children are safely removed from the planet, his angels will start pouring out the wrath. Revelation 16 is all about God's wrath in the form of vials that are poured upon the earth. Nasty stuff.11 Marriage Supper of the Lamb
Although the exact schedule for the marriage supper isn't specified, it must happen soon after the "Rapture" or Resurrection of the Saints. And, probably during the supper Is when God's wrath is poured out on the wicked left on the earth.Revelation 19:7 "Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.
8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
9 And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb..."
12 The Battle of Armageddon
It's not over yet! There are still people alive on the earth following the wrath of God. (Rev. chapter 16, the vials of wrath poured out)They are getting gathered together for one more great battle, the Battle of Armageddon! (Rev. 16:16) After the wonderful celebration in Heaven, Jesus Returns with His army on white horses for the Battle of Armageddon.Revelation 19:11
"And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew but he himself.
13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army."
If you want a real thrill, read the whole chapter. In fact, read the whole book of Revelation. It's amazing.
Philippians 1:28 "And in nothing terrified by your adversaries: which is to them an evident token of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that of God."

Another Sign that the Great Tribulation is at the Door
One very distinct sign that Jesus told us to watch for that would indicate the beginning of the Tribulation is found in Luke chapter 21. Verse 20 says:
"And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh."
It's going to get MUCH worse for Israel, sorry to say. Jerusalem will be completely encircled by her enemies. That hasn't actually happened yet, but it does look imminent.
Luke 21:24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.
(Get the heck out of Jerusalem! Jesus warned everyone to get out or stay away from it in verse 21.)
We are seeing many fall by the edge of the sword. I ask you,
"In modern history, when have so many been decapitated by the sword?" Is it just me, or does this use of the sword seem a little strange to anyone out there? Come on! Who even knows how to use a sword these days except maybe in sport? But to go around mass executing non-Muslims? It's archaic. It's barbaric. Nobody's doing anything to stop it. (Although Russia and Iran who profess to want to "help" are making matters much worse.) And the president of the US is encouraging the acceptance of Islam. (And probably aiding and abetting IS. Ok, that's just a personal opinion so let's just stick with the Bible. Sorry.)
And, when the Bible speaks of the "Gentiles", it is not speaking about Christians! It's speaking about non-Christians, devil-worshippers and, of course, those who want to perform a "holy" jihad against Jerusalem. And who are we walking about? Right. The Muslims. Christians are NOT Gentiles. Neither are we "infidels".
Seeing as Mohammad the so-called "prophet" (who is actually not a prophet at all because nothing he prophesied ever came to pass as far as I know and one is not a prophet unless one's prophecies come to pass) was raised by sudo-parents in a Christian home, he had access to the Bible. The Bible is where that word "infidel" comes from. It's not an Islamic word but a word used by them out of context. They should use that word to describe themselves.
I'm sorry if this post is a bit "politically incorrect", but there's a saying,
"If the truth kills, let it kill."
I believe the truth won't kill anything that is of the Truth.
So, what would be "The Times of the Gentiles"? I think we're seeing it now. The Muslims are rising up, gathering "converts" (another Christian word misused by Islam) and becoming more and more militant. There's a wave of Islam sweeping the world. You all noticed, right?
It must be their time: "The Time of the Gentiles". They'll have their day. That's so they can fill their cup of iniquity. But, that's another story...
In verse 8, Jesus warns us:
"Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them."
WATCH OUT FOR FALSE CHRISTS.
Any Muslim will also tell you that the Muslims believe in "Jesus". Folks, it is NOT the same Jesus. They call their Jesus Esau and they say he didn't DIE. So, how could they be talking about the Christian Jesus?
Other cults, like the Luciferians say that Jesus is the "Sun God" rather than the "Son of God". The B'hais believe that B'houlla was Jesus returned in the flesh. (Sorry if I spelled that wrong, I'll get back to that.) But they think Jesus returned in the body of B'houlla and that we are now living in the "Millennium". Ok, so all that to say, Jesus warned us several times that there would be false Christs. And if you are a proponent of the "Pre-Tribulation Rapture", you may be someone susceptible to this kind of deception.
I Thessalonians 5:3 tell us:
"For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape."
As believers in Christ, we are supposed to be able to "discern the signs of the times".
Think about it, my dear fellow believers. (If you haven't already thought about it.)
WHO is advocating "peace and safety" and "security" and "kindness"? Those are the buzz words that should alert us to action. The action of watching and praying.
